To the OP...out of curiosity, what is your W/L record?

I've found that when I have gotten bored with the game, it's usually because the setting is too easy so I need to up the difficulty so I feel the intensity a bit more.

In MLB13, I played on legend difficulty and had a blast...my age has unfortunately downgraded me to AS level now though.

I have thought of uping the difficulty but that's not really the problem I guess playing straight for the last four years has worn on me a little. I still love the game and baseball but I think by taking a break will give me more of a chance to make it fresh again. JMHO

I usually get one or two games in with my franchise each night.

Still get excited each and every time I see The Show's loading screen.

Bored? I haven't even started yet! Still down at WVU, didn't bring my PS4 down because I knew I wouldn't have self control. But May 7th is the day. 10 days until I can start my Buccos chise.....read these forums everyday, breaks my heart. SO close I can almost smell it..

My self control was brief enough to get my tax return and tell myself "You can't buy a PS4 and The Show with this...you will never get any studying done, or any OT at work..."

Now i sit here every day telling myself "Wal Mart isn't that far away...you're 10 minutes away from a PS4 and The Show...just do it."

This must be what being addicted to crack is like.

I've only got MLB13, but i still get pretty into the games. I really love the close games. The post season lacks a bit of the pressure and excitement of the real thing (Maybe i just don't know, I am a Brewers fan...), but it's still so fun to claw your way back from a 4 run deficit, to a walk-off homer.

Finish your school. I have been trolling on here for the last half-hour but I am serious on this. To some, not all, video games are just a consolation; hence the term "gaming 'Console' "

I'm pretty much finished with school. All of my studying is extra stuff for computer Certifications (CCNA, currently).
But, you're definitely still right.

Here's how I handle playing "The Show":
I play for the first few months, usually up until May. I then find something else to play so I don't experience what the OP is going through. I usually get back around playing "The Show" full time around Jan or the beginning of Feb. I only play RttS so I can understand how it can become a grind. This year, my attention will likely be diverted to Destiny and CoD: BO3 in November.
