Re: What are some 'little things' you would like to see in The Show/
I had a scene in MLB13 where Guerrieri hit a batter (wasn't the third in a row), and the batter charged the mound. Guerrieri was ejected (but the batter wasn't for some reason).
I think it was MLB09 where guys could get ejected arguing calls at the bases? That should be back in along with guys thrown out arguing balls and strikes. Some of those scenes you could imagine escalating into an ejection with some of the reactions after being called out on strikes."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Batters don't charge the mound anymore?

I'm almost positive in the 2K games the batter would charge the mound and then the camera would break away. Either that or the old Show, I know I remember it.Comment

I wish the MLB would allow more "tense" moments into the games but oh well.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Oh so the league is why those scenes aren't in. Figures. *sigh*"Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

I may even recall a baseball game where you actually choose how far to push your argument of the call as the manager to get your team riled up. Like a mini-game almost. Or how mound visits work, doing them at the right time. Am I crazy? There's no telling how many things I've forgotten about good games..
Dude, for real... I'm at the point now where if I never see another weak chopper a couple of feet in front of the catcher again, it's 100% likely you'll never hear me complain.Comment

I really hope soon down the road they upgrade the game engine. I even wonder how an engine similar to what Natural Motion had with Backbreaker would work for a baseball game. The Show is great, but the players are starting to feel more and more like robots. More stiff, you could say. Also, to allow for more dynamic gameplay so we could see more plays like these happen:

The stolen base system is atrocious this year. You take a one step lead and get picked off 90% of the time and if you just send the runner he makes it about 90% of the time with no lead as long as his speed is 75 plus. I want them to make taking bags more credible and worth the effort. Billy Hamilton for example is a living triple no matter what, pitch out and all.Comment

I got so frustrated running the bases with analog controls in RTTS and just switched back to buttons so I could preload steals. My reaction time was just never good enough with analog. With Franchise, I just leave baserunning at auto. Sometimes I'll try a manual steal, but the CPU does a pretty decent job stealing for me, so I just let it do it's thing.Comment
