I really hope a camera very similar to that Home Run Derby field view camera will finally be added as an option for Batting, Pitching and fielding.

Re: Fielding Camera's
Found a nice angle for those of us using auto-fielding or cpu/cpu games. This might be a bit too far away...the ball would be difficult to see. But the angle is nice and shows a lot of the entire field which I would love. A nice upper deck fan-cam. If the angle could be adjusted (so that the corner isn't obscured), I would love a static, no-zoom in camera like this (for fielding). Obviously hitting needs to be the normal cams.

We really need a new camera system that would allow us to place it anywhere or almost anywhere in the stadium but I doubt if that will ever happenLast edited by tnixen; 12-12-2015, 03:08 PM.Comment

Re: Fielding Camera's
Hey guys...not sure if this is the correct thread, but I'm hoping it can get me started in the right direction. As I await MLB the Show 16, I find myself playing MLB the Show 15. In the prior seasons, while pitching (using the PS3), you could use R3 and watch the progress of the ball - which could help you judge and catch the ball. I can't seem to find that setting in MLB the Show 15. What is it? I appreciate any help.Comment

Re: Fielding Camera's
I would like a camera which follows the ball more closely . Ken Griffey Baseball has it right. <iframe src="//giphy.com/embed/j5HXyE5DKQbSw" width="480" height="360" frameBorder="0" class="giphy-embed" allowFullScreen></iframe><p><a href="https://giphy.com/gifs/j5HXyE5DKQbSw">via GIPHY</a></p>Comment

Dynamic cameras that change on the fly like what they did in World Series Baseball 98. <iframe src="//giphy.com/embed/Yt43AbTzsM2fS" width="480" height="360" frameBorder="0" class="giphy-embed" allowFullScreen></iframe><p><a href="http://giphy.com/gifs/Yt43AbTzsM2fS">via GIPHY</a></p>Comment

Re: Fielding Camera's
i would like to see a better outfielder view when playing RTTS, right now, IMO, you are too close to your player that high balls or ones that may clear the yard you dont see or know if/when to jump and catch the ball.
for example. i have a Center Fielder as one of my RTTS player, and when someone hits a ball that is JUST about to clear the fence, its way too difficult to know when to jump and rob the homer.
Co-sign both of these.Comment

Re: Fielding Camera's you would like to see in MLB 16
I remember seeing a few people ask for a new fielding camera or two in next years game. What types of camera's would you like to see? Or is there an old school camera you guys would like to see included in future versions.
Also the more info the better pics and videos are great.
The current camera's are nice but a bit to high and far away to see when the ball comes off the bat. I usually have to use the right stick to zoom in a bit before a batter makes contact but can become a bit annoying when I have to continue to hold it in position.Proud member of the 0.04%Comment

Re: Fielding Camera's
This can go for fielding and batting I guess. But why not also add a first person view?
It would be extremely immersive for both fielding and batting. I'm not sure if its even doable but that would be an amazing addition to the game.Comment

Re: Fielding Camera's
I caught this from the twitch stream looks like a more zoomed in view when playing short stop which is the position I play! If this makes it into the final game I'll take it over the current further away cameras.
