I live in the middle of nowhere and prime never has a problem getting my stuff within two days. I will know this Tuesday though because I preordered a game for my son that comes out that day.

My Amazon Prime order shows a Estimated delivery: Mar. 31, 2016. Are you guys sure they arrive on release day?

I'm unsure because typically it will note choose free 2 day for release day shipping, not showing that for the show so I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't there on release day.

The Division for example does note it has release date shipping when you preorder.

          Anyone encounter this before?

I was also very skeptical of the Amazon release day shipping because i could not find it stated on the website when ordering MLB 16. Usually it says it. So this year I pre ordered with Best Buy since I am a gamer club member and it stated release day shipping.

Used Amazon Prime for years. Always comes on release day, but typically after 12pm.

Question for ya ND, I preordered off of Amazon as a prime member but I see you say typically after 12? I usually get my mail at 11AM so should I be safe to get it release date you think? I can't go a day without the show! Lol

It's usually an independent distribution person. You might get it at 11 if you're regularly getting all your packages then.

I've never had an experience where I didn't get it on release day and I pre-order 2-3 games/year from Amazon.

Always been my experience as well but Amazon almost always explicitly states on pre-orders an option for release day shipping.

The fact they don't in this case makes me cautious. I'm pre-ordering through amazon either way just saying I won't be surprised in this instance if its late, and if they don't have it marked for release day shipping then technically it wouldn't be late.

Yup!! I didn't care about paying $70 on the PSN the fact that when the clock hits 12:00 AM march 29th I'm going to be playing that's all I care about. I have GCU but I love just staying up all night when it releases instead of driving to best buy @ 10 PLUS I do an offline tourney so I need to check out the rosters ASAP lol

                          Re: Amazon Prime

I have a feeling that those ordering through Amazon may not receive this game on release day. If you pull up MLB 16 on Amazon it makes no mention of release day delivery. Then pull up Uncharted 4 on Amazon and you will see it says ""Want to receive this the day it comes? Select free two day shipping at checkout".

I agree with those in the past who have never had a problem receiving a game on release day, but I recall every other time I have seen the above prompt when ordering a game.

I just want people to be aware of this and not to be too surprised or upset if it is not received on release day.

Yeah Amazon isn't very good about updating their website or explaining stuff. You just have to know that they do it.

I'll keep the BB GCU but this is a nice alternative to have.
