Re: Weather in 2015
So in the IGN stream, Ramone confirmed that the roof closed/open would be decided for you based on the weather. He made this comment right after he said he wished the roof was closed as they were playing in Chase Field....
They really should have given us the option to choose or this is going to kill the realism. Also worth mentiong, they were playing in Arizona with the roof open and the managers and umpires were wearing jackets. So much for realistic weather.....
They came so close with the open/closed roofs but if its not realistic it's going to kill the realism ughComment

Yes, that used to drive me crazy. I am so glad they included umpire jackets now.Comment

Re: Weather in 2015
I'm kinda ticked that they include it based on users requesting it, but then they don't give us the option to use it.Last edited by dran1984; 02-18-2016, 07:50 PM.Comment

Re: Weather in 2015
They spent a lot of manpower, hours and utlimately a chunk of $$ to create these new builds. They wouldn't have built it into the game unless they wanted it to be used.
I would prefer the option to play with it open/closed but either way...I'd bet it would be over 25% that you play in a closed stadium where these things exist.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Honestly, what does it matter what's going on outside the virtual stadium if the roof is closed?

Because the stadiums still have windows. Plus it's a work-a-round. It makes more sense to give us the same options as we get for exhibition.Comment

Re: Weather in 2015
I do understand some people's fuss with not being able to select it manually. I know the Dbacks keep the roof closed about 90% of their home games especially during the summer months. If I play with a team like that and the temp is 107 outside and the roof is open I'd be a little disappointed, but it's not a game killer for me like it might be for others.Comment
