No Black with Purple sleeves for the Rockies to be found but it's in the style guide. I know my Rockies suck but those purple sleeves are hideous. Lol! Per my knowledge they are not changing to that alternate.

Doesn't matter...the game is told by the MLB that they are required to follow the MLB style guide.

But they had it right for 2015 for the first time and now it looks like from the video that they are going back to the purple sleeves.

So the MLB told the game to change the sleeves to black last year, the correct color, and then for whatever reason, told them to change it back to purple this year, the incorrect color?

I'm just going based off what information has been given to us...and that is the team is bound by the style guide. For all we know according to the guide it's now purple of black.

But if they go by the style guide every year it would have never been changed. Unless the Rockies decided to go back to the purple sleeves which they had for like 1 year...possible but I'm a but skeptical. Not sure what really happened.

The thing is, this is shaping up to be an amazing game, so the issues with the jerseys are becoming more frustrating. It's not all on SCEA, they do a great job with this game, but it's still frustrating.

After watching the video again, it appears that a few of the later released jerseys will be in after all. The Astros blue alt made it in for sure. I noticed that the Brewers are missing the stripe off of their pants, so that leads me to believe that they added the new blue/yellow alt. And in the shot of the Athletics in the yellow jerseys they were playing the twins in their "pin stripe throwback" alternate. Which leaves a space for the new red jersey to be included. The other one I'm really hoping made it is the Phillies new red alternate.


I wonder which Padre alternate made it in. The brown or the new camo?

Edit: At the 1:52 mark in the gamestop video I'm pretty sure I spy the Phillies new red alternate

I don't understand where this uniform combo came from...I have been a Rox fan since day 1 and cannot for the life of me ever remember them wearing Purple sleeves under the black vest....I love the black vest but hate the purple sleeves...It looks absolutely ridiculous...

Can you remember a time the actual team wore them?

If you dig into the history of Rockies uniforms the purple sleeves are there. What year I am not sure. It has been awhile since they have worn them.

Well that catcher is JD Closser. He played for the Rockies from 2004-2006.
