Still can't decide if I want to move to MoM. Currently, I'm just fast forwarding through hitting (just too frustrating for me) and just playing pitching/defense.

Manage mode is a whole other beast though.

Unless you're really into just the managerial decisions(and thinking of GM decisions during games)....it can be a bit blase after a bit.

Switching absolutely changed the game for me.

Realism on a whole new level.

I don't see myself ever playing The Show any other way.

I enjoy playing MOM. But what I have been doing lately is playing a combination. I fully play out games for one pitcher's start(yes, I made myself). Then I either Sportcast Manage or MOM the others. Gives it variety. The Sportcast manager helps move the season along quicker. I really wish they would spend a little time in that. It is much better an idea than just simming games to me and doesn't take very long. However, if you are a NL team it really sucks because you can't double switch at all.

In Sportscast Manager, does Matty V still announce batters as taking their first AB, regardless of how many ABs in game they've had?

E.g. David Ortiz being anounced as "stepping to the plate for the first time" even though this is his 3rd AB?

This was a bug I reported a few months ago, haven't used Sportscast since. Used to use it a lot in 15.

Yup. Several little quirks like that. For instance the batter shows his throwing hand, not his batting.

Still. Better to me than just simming. At least I feel like I am in control....sorta. LOL!!

I love every aspect of MoM. It really makes the game enjoyable. I just don't have the coordination or patience to play every at bat. This way, I get to put the team on the field and make the gm desisions while watching the guys play instead of just looking at stats.

Any MoM players still playing out there? Looking for some that may be into Aug or later. Im finishing April and Im seeing some high confidence pitchers lately that are breezing through innings. I cant tell if this is just a trend thing, or if its going to stay this way and need to be adjusted with sliders. Its been happening for about 12 - 17 days now. Im afraid to jump the gun and adjust anything. Idk whether to increase batter contact by 1 or lower pitcher control and consistancy. I dont really want to do anything if this is just a phase that will pass.

I managed every game through May and then took a break but just got back into it. I simmed to earlier this week and started managing again.

In both games both starters were chased before the 7th.

Just finished my MOM season. Every game was either MOM or Sportscast Manager. Most of my pitchers Barry made 6 innings.

I was but decided The Show was not for me and decided to quit playing this franchise. The lack of accurate stats was just too much for me as I feel statistics are important to the game.

Not being able to see team total stats was the deal breaker. It's too bad. They sort of had a good thing going but without understanding statistics all you have is an arcade game.

I mean come on - not having SB and CS next to each other on their stat page?? Seriously? it showed me they had non-baseball people developing the game. It was no longer a work of love but a work for profit.

So this is the last post in The Show for me.

I have a question about the desition timer. Does it effect the cpu desition or do they pick the same no matter what?
