Re: What difficulty you all playing on?
I play on All Star+ pitching and veteran hitting. I've been debating on making some changes though. I'm in my 3rd season on 15 and have yet to when the WS, lost in the NLCS the last 2 years, but I'm currently 45-14 this season. My hitting has been the same as the previous 2 seasons but my pitching has been lights out this year. When I think about bumping my difficulty up I feel like I'm cheating myself out of a chance at something special. What do you guys think?

Re: What difficulty you all playing on?
I was sort of in that same situation. My ability to hit and pitch began to exceed the difficulty level. I thought about simply finishing the season and if I dominated then so be it. But with each win, I knew any satisfaction from winning the WS would be overshadowed because in my heart I knew I was wasn't being fully tested.I play on All Star+ pitching and veteran hitting. Bottom line, I'd rather struggle being equal with the AI vs. winning all the time on a level that wasn't right for me.Comment

Re: What difficulty you all playing on?
All Star hitting, HOF pitching, directional hitting & pulse pitching. No guess pitch on. Will switch to analog hitting if they bring back the stride. I tend to play RTTS & DD more than anything else.

Re: What difficulty you all playing on?
Thanks for the advice, I may have jinxed myself though. Since I asked the question, I've lost 3 out of 4 and given up 23 runs those games. I'm starting to play some better teams so I'm going to see how I make out against them and go from there.Comment

All-Star hitting and pitching. I admit that I tweak the hitting timing slider in my favor to offset the ridiculous amount of foul balls by the CPUComment

Re: What difficulty you all playing on?
That happens to me every time that I bump it up from All Star pitching. I go from allowing 2-4 runs a game, to 15-20. Not much middle ground there.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Re: What difficulty you all playing on?
I play on allstar, but I mess with the sliders a tiny bit. I bump up timing and contact for both hitting a pitching. I likr pitching to be a bit harder, but not HOF hard, and I like hitting to be a bit easier, but not veteran easy. So tweaking the sliders a littlebit gives me the results I like. I have done this for years, but with this year's new PCI I may have to find a new formula.Comment
