Well I got through downloading last night it only took 22 hrs and 17 minutes. My Internet speed is 6 mbps. Never disconnected though. The only reason why I get the digital download, I play it year around. Plus I can have a disc in the unit without switching the games out. Weĺl worth it for me.

I really don't need fast Internet speed because i'm an offline gamer.

I can't wait until 11.

Perhaps we should make a FAQ just for pre-loading and digital downloads.

No joke, they should do this and just pin it to every applicable forum. I stick to here and 2K's sections, and there's always questions, panic and confusion the day or 2 before release due to ppl not understanding how pre-loading works.

It's possible that it's already included with the digital install. No way to know until midnight unless a dev lets us know.

Actually I take it back - there is a way. Even though we can't start the game, we can check the update history - and mine indeed says 1.01.

Highlight the game, press options, and view update history.

Don't have class until 11 am tomorrow. Take a nap tonight, play well past when I should be in bed and then start it up after class again! Less than 4 hours!
