I played the full game between the Mets and Royals and it still hasn't Installed. Wow. So much for pre-ordering when I can even get in the game. Really sad.

Why in the world am I stuck in a KC NYM game while more of this thing installs? I'm absolutely positive it pre loaded yesterday and it said it was installed and completed and everything but now I'm sitting here waiting for this huge boring download. What was the point of the preload? I have to go to work early in the morning and this was the one night I was gonna sacrifice sleep to get in at least an hour of The Show starting at midnight but nope, looks like I'm sacrificing my sleep to watch another installation happen. So pissed at this.

It's downloading, not installing. Regardless of what the in-game menus say.

Did you pre-load the game? You have to have the whole 50 GB download to play the full game.

I mean, we could always ask for a lesser game.

I'm okay with the install time for as much as we can get.

I had zero install time. My game unlocked at midnight and I'm playing Cubs-Cards right now.

Go to your dashboard, select the Show 16, press options and go to information. You'll see the file size there, and if it's less than 50 GB (I have 50.15 to be exact), then you do not have the full game yet.

For the record, I also have a "download status" listing on this screen saying 42.623 GB/42.623 GB. Meaning it's completely done, and that's why I can play the whole thing.

Yup. Me too. I pre-loaded on Sunday and everything was there. Unlocked at 1200, I continued my RttS into 16 and I'm moving along. It doesn't sound the people that are stuck in limbo fully downloaded the game.

That all depends on your internet speed. With my 10 Mbps down It took nearly a full 24 hours to download the whole thing. It's slow by today's standards, but at least it's stable.

No problem, just trying to help. I understand the frustration of not being able to play what you paid for right away.

Well I'm happy to say that after a 5 second power outage at 5am this morning took 12GB of my then 32GB so far download.

It is now fully downloaded and I'm just starting to play.

With my 10 Mbps down It took nearly a full 24 hours to download the whole thing. It's slow by today's standards, but at least it's stable.

Where i live in Western Australia the best internet plan i can get is 8mbps and because of the crappy lines and distance to the nearest exchange the best i can get is around 6-7 mbps.
My download speed on my ps4 is 4mbps,even my ps3 that is right next to my ps4 can get between 5-6 mbps ds.

But it's all downloaded and ready to go in 8 hours or so when it unlocks,just in time for a game before bed.

Never ever ever ever ever ever will go digital again. Says 47 hours are left!!!! This is crazy. Ive shut off all other devices using the internet.

What are you internet speeds? If you go into your ps4 settings > network > test network that will some times help it. Also, pausing and unpausing helps as well.

Also, you have to realize you aren't the only one trying to download the game. Pre-loading the game a few days before release will alleviate the issue of trying to dl a game on the day of the release.

Update 3 - 3/28/15 11:33pm pst: We have made some changes that allow users to redeem Pack entitlements:

1. Go to theshownation.com
2. Click the Stubs icon in the top right of the website, next to your username
3. Press the blue button that says Redeem
4. Now, back in MLB The Show 16, go into your inventory, and everything you have redeemed should be in your "open packs" menu.
