I am a classic head so just a few things to add here to help out. Even though this pitching method is heavily attribute driven, it is a feel type mechanic. You have a fair amount of input on where your pitches go by learning how to apply varying degrees of effort behind a pitch. When using this interface I recommend people turning on pitcher warmup tosses. Gaining confidence in your pitches during warmups is very important in classic plus you get a feel of how much effort you need to put behind your breaking pitches.

A tip that may help some as far as effort is concerned, I use reference points in a pitcher's windup to determine minimum, medium and max velocity. As we know if you have rumble enabled you get rumble feedback when max velocity has been reached.

Normally I would be jealous of all you guys that have the game and have been playing....but as fellow OS'ers, I ain't even mad...I'm happy for you guys! Lol Appreciate you guys taking the time to answer questions.

Just curious, have the postgame cutscenes (player of the game, interview, etc.) changed at all? I've watched a few streams off and on but only saw one postgame so far and it was the same as the last few years. Just wondering if it has been the same for any games you guys have completed?

In the games I played it was largely the same.

I have completed 4 games of Spring Training and every postgame is the same as it has been. If there is something new I haven't seen it.

I remember you saying this. Ill have to experiment a bit more with it. You are saying you use certain degrees of pressure to get the best accuracy? Technically, shouldnt minimal effort yield more accurate results or do you believe each pitcher has a "sweet spot"? Have you tested it out at all with stats to support this or was it just something you got a feel for?

Regardless, i still feel like precision input has no affect on classic pitching.

Because of different pitcher attributes and arsenals each pitcher does have their sweet spot on being effective. Depending on the pitch and the degree of break a pitch may or may not have, they may need more or less effort to be effective than others.

I am not debating on precision, I also feel it is irrelevant on classic.

Probably was already answered but are there more spring training stadiums this year?

They couldn't really add anymore spring training or minor league stadiums due to the amount of work and time it took to build the retractable roof stadiums.

Some of the minor league stadiums look like spring training parks. I always mix it up in spring.

This plus I will use the Classic stadiums for both Spring Training and Minor league ball.

The one at AT&T park always worked for me. I've hit a few in the drink there and it has counted.

If you set reliever entrance music, will it keep playing when throwing the warmup pitches on the mound?
