can someone explain to me how evereth cabrera is an 80 overall? thats a really high rating and higher than a lot of players who are actually on a roster

For whatever reason, there are players that get respect from SCEA based on nothing. See: Danny Santana, Scooter Gennett, Jean Segura. Those guys are tremendously overrated.

A friend and I can't play each other. "Challenge failed" is all we get. This happen to anyone else? We've tried multiple days.

Probably an NAT type issue. If you or your friend are on a college campus or using an apartment complex wifi, you probably won't be able to play online. Im at school right now and I can't play any sort of H2H game.

We are both at our homes. Both nat's according to our Playstations is type 2. We can play other games together.

I'm watching some videos on Youtube to help me with my decision to buy this year's edition or not.

and noticed that each time the guy hit the ball the animation would stop for some milliseconds. This was less apparent when the cpu was batting but very distracting when the human was.

Is this a known issue or just a problem with this video ?

This is the first time I've seen that effect. Highly likely just that particular video stream.

Not sure about anyone else, but my game doesn't do that. I've seen several MLB16 youtube video and I've never seen that freezing effect. I've played multiple games and never had that happen.

Is there anyway to turn that R2 guess pitch icon off? Couldn't do it last year either. Maybe I missed a setting.

Is there no way to power or contact swing with the flick controls? I noticed with the pull back thing if you push square before the pitch it is a power swing. If you push circle before it is a contact swing. With the flick controls it doesn't do that? What am I missing? I haven't really had time to play the game for more than like 30 minutes of practice mode so maybe I just forgot from last year how to do it.

Okay so the new modes have really gotten me excited about DD and I have spent more time this year than I have ever have ever since it was introduced. I have some questions.
When should I sell a card?
What do the arrows mean next to the overall player rating?
Should I use all the cards that I'm not using to feed my CAP?
Which cards should I sell and which should I keep?
If I sell a card, does it still show up that I collected it?
Is it better to hold unto points or spend them as I get them?
What's the best or fastest way to get points without spending real money on them?
Is there a way to draw your own logos for your uniforms? I can only find the logos, animals etc that are included in the game.
I see that some players have bronze and silver color behind their rating. I assume the silver and up are more valuable? Will I eventually get all the cards if I play enough? I really want Mike Trout
Any tips for buying?
Is the only way to have another user play DD to have them make their own profile and play with their profile? For instance, I have a friend that I think would love conquest mode but I already am playing DD and there is no option to play another one. It's not like franchise for example. I can save multiple franchises but only one DD. So does my friend need to make his own profile on my PS4 and log in separately? Basically not letting me play mine?

I am so glad they added 2 modes to DD. I always get so caught up in my franchise that I don't even bother with DD or RTTS. Thanks in advance for any help and tips.

Question in the past i wouldnt do analog becuase trying to time the stride was just to hard for me and took to much focus. So when i would try analog hitting i would just swing at ever thing. Now last year becuase you didnt have to time it and would just flick it i did analog. But i would pull back like there was a stride becuase i like the motion but i would do it way early so i didnt have to time it and you wouldnt get penerlize like before. Is there a way to do that this year? So if you play on flick you cant do that becuase it will just do a power swing. So if you do that on the stride thing do you get penerlized like you did on mlb 14? Or not?

You still have to push it forward to do a power swing.

The penalty to fielding for playing a player out of position.

Is it all four fielding attributes? Or just their fielding stat?
