Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
So I have both David Price and Noah Syndergaard as my pitchers on the Red Sox and I am about to do a new contract for Noah but he wants his role as "Ace".
What is considered an "Ace" as far as MLB 16 The Show is concerned? Can there only be one starting ACE pitcher in my rotation? If I sign Noah to a long term deal as an Ace role, will he be upset if he's pitching in the #2 spot?Comment

It's when you give him the expectation that he'll be in a bigger role that you're giving him is where players get mad.Comment

How do I prevent the CPU from automatically assigning my 40 man roster when I skip spring training before each season starts?Comment

Thanks for the answer, didn't want to click and get some kind of mutual forfeit/draw thing.
Dude ended up finishing the game anyway, I think he was just super indecisive and was overthinking all his bullpen moves.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
Does playing on a harder difficulty just make it so more BS happens? I swear every time I play on HoF my players make the most untimely errors possible. Base hit to the outfield with a runner on first, ball goes under his glove and the run scores. I just laid down a sac bunt to move my runner to third, the CPU third baseman fields it, runs over and dives across the field and tags my advancing runner out. Wtf? It kills the realism of the game. Not to mention that as soon as I take the lead, the CPU starts crushing balls until they tie it up. Once the game is tied, they stop hitting.

Is anyone else experiencing commentary audio issues? Matt Vasgersian's audio keeps fluctuating between loud and quiet. Very annoying to hear.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
I'll ask this question again because nobody picked it up
Is there an option so there is a pitch call out after every pitch thrown (blue/red circle). Older games you had the option between simple or full where simple was just the dots with the type of pitch written in it and full with the mph as well.

Re: MLB The Show 16 Q&A Thread
Nevermind I found it. I had to turn swing/pitch info on. Although I believe these two weren't tied in the past. I'd rather not see the swing/pitch box appear but that's something I gotta live with."When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Re: Is there a way to play Manager Only/GM mode?
Never played this game before b/c never had PS3.
I just want to be able to play the game as Manager/GM. Where I could play a season or seasons, and play the actual games (not simmed), but where the CPU/AI controls my players as well.
Can anyone tell me how to do that in this game?
Thanks much.
I played about half my franchise games last year as manage only but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do that this year. Am I missing something???
Okay, nevermind, I found the answer right here: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...remind-me.htmlLast edited by satchmykels; 04-03-2016, 06:42 AM.Comment
