Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Doing a 30 team control franchise and looking for opinions on if I should reverse this trade or not.
The Braves sent SS Dansby Swanson to the Yankees for RF Aaron Judge. Realistically, it's probably not going to happen but I don't mind unrealistic trades as long as both teams are getting fair value in the trade. I don't know how to judge this one. What do you guys think, reject it or let it go through?Comment

No such thing as too many SS prospects, IMO. Not sure I think Judge would be enough alone for Swanson, though.Nebraska Cornhuskers Detroit Tigers San Francisco 49ers Detroit Red Wings Syracuse Orange New York KnicksComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Judge wouldn't be enough for Swanson. It is pretty much consensus around the industry that Swanson is thought of as the better player than Judge. The raw power Judge has is legit, but he isn't enough for Swanson. You rarely if ever see prospect swaps even when they make sense. Braves are seen as having a top-2/3 farm system. Why would they trade their best prospect and a top 10 guy for Judge, who isn't even the Yankees best prospect and isn't a top 25 prospect.Comment

Sup guys. Curious as to what it would take to get Yo Ventura to the Red Sox? Now that it's coming out his own teammates are sick of him and all that plus the team has been shopping him recently.MLB: Boston Red Sox
NFL: New England Patriots
NBA: Boston Celtics
NHL: Boston Bruins
NCAA: Uconn Huskies and Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
More than you probably want to give. He's under team control through 2021 if the options are taken for only $44.2 million. Yesterday it was brought up for JBJ or Shaw and I think that's around the ballpark it would take. The Royals would need to get valuable players. There's a difference between thinking someone is a knucklehead and wanting to ship them out for peanuts. Ventura profiles as a guy that even if he can't turn it around as a front/mid rotation guy, his fastball profiles great for a shutdown 8th/9th inning guy and he is pretty affordable.Comment

You're right, there are never too many shortstop prospects. They often become great fielding outfielders and third basemen.

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
So I am rolling along with the Twins right now and I like taking some notes for possible moves I can do. As of right now I love my bullpen but if I seem to fall out of contention, I am looking at dealing Kevin Jepsen as I already have Glen Perkins as my closer. As of right now Jepsen is having a very solid year. Any ideas on what I could get for him? I figured I would look at bullpen needy teams around the deadline if I am out of it.Follow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment
