I am thinking something like Martes, Tucker/Cameron (higher potential and overall of the 2), Reed and Kemp. And the Cleveland deal feels alright.
I agree, The Quintana deal if very light. Honsetly, to land a guy as good as Quintana, You are really looking at Reed, Martes, Tucker and possibly Kemp added on. You could also go Bergman and Kemp. Bergman alone is very solid value. Quintana has been a top 10 pitcher the past few seasons but he gets over looked because of Sale. He could easily be an ACE on another team.

That's more "sweetner" than trading "to hurt your team", imo. Real talent for real talent I agree with...but I just see that as fair/reasonable valuation.

Exactly, a kingdom (team) can take costs and "hurt" in not just in material (players), but also in treasure ($$$).

Starting a Rockies frachise and wondering what it would take to get Billy Hamilton? I want him since I think his speed will play well in that park on defense and batting

How about building a larger package and sending CarGo to Cincy for Hamilton and some of that young pitching?

That's a pretty good idea. Would Hamilton and a B potential pitcher be a good base. I don't watch much NL baseball so not sure how much value CarGo has?

I'm pretty sure that Gourriel is the younger brother who hasn't signed anywhere yet. He's like 22

Hamilton plus Stephenson/Reed/Desclafani would probably work. Or Hamilton plus Lorenzen and Lamb if you want to broaden the return a bit

Seems like an over value of CarGo. If the Reds aren't competitive I'm not sure how 1.5 years of CarGo help

Point taken but in a scenario where they are competing, he'd be a nice get.

In nearly every season I have played, Cinci does terrible. It must be an AI thing. Because you are not even started your season, You should play games first before making ablockbuster type deal. Rockies trading Cargo before season starts is un-realistic. but that is just my opinion.

You are correct, Lourdes Gourriel Jr hasn't been signed yet and is the 22 year old brother of 32 year old Yulieski Gourriel the one that was signed by the Astros.

Or because the Reds have been garbage IRL for 3 years, but yeah I don't see them needing CarGo when they probably aren't going to contend

Went ahead wit both trades. Giving up K.Tucker, Gouriell, Moran and Martes for Quintana.

Puig propelled Cleveland to the AL championship game where we lost to my Houston Astros who went on to win the world series beating the Dodgers in 7. Now in off season two, White Sox lose Sale. He's now a FA who I'll be trying to sign for one of my teams

Btw, season two had my cubs beat my red Sox in 7 for the ship. Cubbies win one!
