Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I think you mean what else the Astros would need to give the Rockies. Blackmore. Is much more valuable than MarisnickComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I see Christian Walker and Trey Mancini as top options. They don't have anyone in the farm at 1st base.
Walker/Mancini
Chance Sisco
David Hess/Gray Fenter
Pick 2 players out of the combos with Sisco and I think you can get CashnerComment

In the end, the game will value him, not his issues. Thats what myself, and others are looking for.NFL - Denver Broncos
NCAAF - Boise State Broncos
Champions Indoor Football - Sioux City Bandits 9-2
MLB - Toronto Blue Jays 56-45
NHL - Colorado Avalanche 2022 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS

I like that better. What other sort of prospect can I get for Blackmon? Also what other teams might be interested in him?Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm looking to bring Khris Davis to the Red Sox.
I looked at what the A's gave the Brewers to build my deal. Is this in the ballpark for Davis' value?
SP Brian Johnson + SS Deven Marrero
or
Johnson + Luis Ysla (or some other High C/Low B prospect)Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I feel like you have been around long enough to know how this thread works. Others are looking for realistic trade options. That what this thread is for and has always been for (at least since I joined). Suggestions looking for a realistic trade unless specified as a fair value trade or big name superstar, where it is implied as a fair value trade.Comment

Are those trades that the cpu will accept because that seems fair to me. I always make sure that before i suggest a deal, its one they will approve of.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Just started a 30 team control franchise, play as the A's. Closer to the deadline i have a few trade targets, looking for opinions on value
Zack Wheeler
or Gio Gonzalez (if Nats aren't contending)
Carlos Santana (if Indians aren't contending)

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Makes sense. Getting rid of Martes would really hurt since I'm quite fond of him, but with Musgrove, Paulino, and Feliz on his way up, I guess I can afford to move him. Having Lucroy would be awesome.
Any chance I can get away with keeping Martes and trading my surplus of hitting prospects? Derek Fisher, Colin Moran, Kyle Tucker, Daz Cameron, Tony Kemp, Andrew Aplin? That would be most ideal, but I understand these guys don't quite bring to the table what Martes does.Football Data Analyst @ Tracking Football

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Tex Receives
Lucroy
+Low potential prospect
Mil Receivers
Moreland
Chi Chi
Morgan
Jackson
Moreland could fill their 1B need by creating a platoon with Carter. Chi Chi is a young starter with decent potential to evolve into an above average rotation guy. Morgan prospects pretty well and is capable of playing 2B, SS, 3B and C. That said, I'm not next to my game right now, so I'm not sure how well the OSFM guys treated Morgan. Finally, Luke Jackson to give Mil additional bullpen depth when he makes it to MLB level, which shouldn't be too much longer.
Again, I would get thoughts on this first. I might be severely under-rating Milwaukee's return. Or maybe even what Texas is giving, though I doubt that.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
So I'm the Marlins and I need to overhaul the farm system. I was thinking of this mega trade:
Mia recieves:
Starling Marte
Josh Bell
Tyler Glasnow
Pit recieves:
Giancarlo Stanton
Hechavarria or Dee Gordon (whoever is more realistic)
Thoughts?
Baseball: Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates
Basketball: Chicago Bulls
Football: Chicago Bears
Hockey: Chicago Blackhawks
College Sports: University of Oregon

Going for realism? I have a hard time seeing many teams outside of LAD or BOS taking on that kind of contract.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I would wait for additional insight on this before just doing it but I would look into something like:
Tex Receives
Lucroy
+Low potential prospect
Mil Receivers
Moreland
Chi Chi
Morgan
Jackson
