I'm not trying to overstate my own worth, but I'm pretty sure most people on this thread don't just throw out my opinion.


Keith Law did farm system rankings and had Texas two spots ahead of the Indians.


Braves only have 6 in the top 100 in BA's Midseason top 100, so you probably think the Indians are above them too.


Also your reading either suffered or you had a bad link because the Indians have 7 in the top 100 in BA Midseason not 10.


Indians have a good farm system, not elite. I personally don't think a team with around the 10th best system is elite, I tend to think there are more like 3-5 elite farm systems.

3 prospects in a top 100 is a big deal. Don't write that they have almost 10% of the list. Say they have 7% like they do. Most of which are outside the top 50 (5 of 7 outside).

oooooor i write almost 10 and you show us you have the ability to read. its not hard, i promise. and who cares about where in the top 100? nobody.

believe it or not, every intelligent baseball source believes the indians are as great as i think. thats why they have almost 10 top 100 prospects, thats why they are likely going to end up winning the central this year.

im sure things will get back on track when you stop lying and misquoting along with discrediting realiable sources because they dont fit the anti-cleveland agenda.

well since baseball america says my opinion is spot on, id say yeah its because everyone else is crazy. there is just alpt of irrational anti-indians agenda around here and its proba lu because people for some ridiculous reason think chief wahoo is racist.

Chief Wahoo IS racist. And yeah I misread. That's my bad. The difference between you and I is that I owned up to that mistake. I have not "lied" to anyone in this thread. They very well could win the AL Central they have very good pitching. They also wouldn't be leading a single division in the NL so lets try to temper the expectations a tad bit.


Baseball America is a good resource. It also isn't gospel. There are other sources to find information. Generally speaking we try not to let biases cloud our judgment. I'm a Braves fan. I don't think Teheran is worth Bregman/Gallo/Moncada/Benintendi etc. Just one example.


It's super ironic that I am discrediting reliable sources, when I'm not. I just use multiple sources (ESPN, MLB.com, Fangraphs, Baseball Prospectus) but those don't fit your narrative.

So I have three offers out there and I have t choose which one I will do. My latest post showed stats of many of the players.

Devin Mesoraco for Wander Javier and Kohl Stewart.

With Mesoraco being out all year so far with an injury, I think this may be over doing it with Kohl Stewart but I am taking a chance on him not getting hurt again to be my every day Catcher.

Blake Swihart for Adam Walker

Swihart was once a valued prospect for the Red Sox but has since fallen off and this year is another year of that as he is rotting in Triple-A while Christian Vaszquez locked down the every day catcher out of spring training and is doing a fine job. I offered Walker (#9 prospect in system) just as a starting price but obviously it is not my final offer and it is my back up plan as well.

Patrick Corbin for NIck Gordon, Tyler Jay and Jermaine Palacios

This would be the blockbuster deal that would surely help my rotation but this is just a rough draft of it. Like I said before, my main priority is getting Mesoraco.

If you feel like it is overdoing it, you are probably about right on value. I try to overpay in my own franchise but to each their own. A completely healthy Mesoraco is worth more than Stewart, so it is probably alright to take the injury risk. His 2014 was a 4.5 WAR season, and since injuries don't happen as much in The Show as real life I do think it should hurt to acquire him. Maybe even switching to a 50 FV instead of Javier.


I don't remember if you posted in season stats for Corbin, if you did sorry I missed it, but I think that seems fair IF the Diamondbacks are out of it. Arizona is hard to judge since they have made some god awful trades lately.

Yea I posted Corbins stats earlier but I can look them up again when I am home from the gym. Yea Mesoraco got hurt in spring training in my season and is about to come back so it is really taking a chance.
