I played a game against the Dodgers that began at 4:00 pm. The umpires started with the baby blue Uniform shirts and by sun down they all had on their black jackets.

Now that's cool. I've noticed through the videos that umpires look more realistic with their blazers, pullovers, etc.

That's actually a bug. Last year in games like that players would end up in long sleeves at the end and eye black would come off. The game recognizes the time and equips the players for a night game. Kind of annoying and breaks the realism a bit.

The injuries, playing my 6th game and I've seen three injuries and a cut scene has properly shown for the injury that was said to happen.

I've hit some line drives back towards the pitcher but they have gotten out of the way of all of them. Haven't hit the pitcher yet.

This is the worst "little things" thread ever.

Super annoying that people are making this into the nitpicks and little complaints thread....some people either clearly don't understand what this thread does every year or they have a terrible case of off topic-itis.

As for me (I don't have the game yet but have seen some streams)...

Little Thing #1 --I noticed that PBR has boosted the the texture on some of the mascots (look at the "fur" on the Phillie Phanatic for a good example). The crowd also looks better so maybe the PBR is boosting the texture on their clothing a bit?

Little Thing #2 --Punctuation on the back of jerseys! O'Day and deGrom!

Little Thing #3 --Some of the stadium detail is really impressive. On Millennium's stream, he found the red seat at Fenway Park, noticed some writing on the inside of the dugout bullpen phone case, and watched the Rays swim around in the center field water tank.

Each umpire has their own unique called strike and punchout animations.
