Playing against the Yankees earlier, Tanaka threw a wild pitch pitch and Matty V said "And McCann just McCan't get a glove on it!".Boston Red Sox

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
Was facing Scott Kazimir and he struck me out 17 times heading into the 8th inning and I lined a ball back which hit him in the hand. He went down in sort of a huddle position, kind of squirmed and didn't try to field the ball deflected off him. He ended up leaving the game with a hand injury. It was a pretty awesome thing to see.Comment

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
Not my video, just found this on youtube.
Is this considered a glitch or purposely done by SCEA? But it honestly looks like it was done on purpose to give the game a little "personality" so to speak.
Upon heading home from third, the runner seems to be "taunting" the catcher; notice the runner's feet. It never touches home plate. Notice the runner's heel. Maybe this has been posted in this thread, if so apologies.
It just looks like something the other company does for their basketball game. Never really considered SCEA doing something like this especially in-game and not cut scene. But this absolutely gives the game a little bit more life and personality. Obviously the outcome kills what should have been a scored run. But still a very welcomed sight.
Would probably had been more appropriate had the runner tag the bag and scored immediately after "taunting" the catcher.

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
When hitting a HR with the Giants at AT&T park they said "Like Giants fan would hear on the TV..It Is OUTTA HERE!!!" Which is pretty cool cause that's the call from Kruk and Kuip

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
Playing Mets @ Goants exhibition game. I'm the Giants, up 5-1 top of the 6th. Curtis Granderson at bat (who led off the game with a homerun in the water in rf), leads off the 6th with a triple.
It shows my 3B Matt Duffy go hand the ball to my pitcher *winl wink*. Walks back over to 3rd base and they actually tried the hidden ball trick lol. Didn't work but was funny to see and very cool feature.Comment

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
Yea man it's definitely not the easiest place to hit one. It took me like 3-4 games before I hit my first one with Brandon Belt to RF.
Also one thing I LOVE but I'm not sure how little it is, is how good the catchers gear looks. As something that's a big focus while you're pitching I love how good it looks this year with PBR and the branded catchers gear. I just love pitching to Posey seeing how good he looks“Baseball is a game, yes. It is also a business. But what is most truly is is disguised combat. Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
Just played a night game in pittsburgh, and between innings late in the game they showed a short video, time lapse I think (I wish I was paying greater attention) of the city at night.
So cool.
Expand even more on that next year!Comment

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
I'm working from home today so I decided to watch the CPU play each other (TEX vs. PIT).
During the game, Eric Karros mentions that Adrian Beltre is the only 3B to not wear a cup. Thought that was...a uh...interesting tidbit.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread
I believe they have a day and night time lapse for every city in the game. It happens between innings and is totally random as far as what inning it pops up. I was playing a day game at Camden Yards and a time lapse of the Inner Harbor played.Comment
