I play with broadcast view for in-play offense cam. Not sure if it is broadcast cam specific as I haven't noticed it when playing with dynamic view or medium.

For those that didn't care for the HR cam of old, I haven't seen that cam on any of my hrs on broadcast view so far. Love the look of the presentation on monster blast this year.

This game took a very understated leap in presentation and animation aspects this year IMO. The more I play it, I'm more amazed at the improvements.
I wish the cam stayed on the batter as the ball goes into the crowd on no doubters, would rather see the batter animations instead of just the ball.

The hidden ball trick has been in for as long as i have been playing although i don't think i saw it in 15. I never saw the beachball on the field in 15 but have seen it twice already in 16.
Another rarity i have only ever seen once,in 15,was blimp cam. Not sure when it was added or why we don't see it more often as it was a great cam view.

When loading up a franchise, continue is on top instead of new game. Just hitting x a few times and not having to push down and x. I love that.
Also fans catching the ball and doing a dance or jumping up and down. That's cool to see.
Matt having more oomph in his calls. Especially home runs.

Not a little thing, really. But I love how David Ortiz' speed is 1.

I really like that Matty V calls out the players name when they are making a play on defense, can't wait til they expand on it when it comes to base running. (insert player name) is rounding third, (player name) is right be behind them, (player name) scores (player name) scores/or thrown out at the plate. you get the picture...

I was playing opening day of a Padres franchise. The game started at 7:05, so it was still sunny. Andre Ethier wore sun glasses for the first three innings. By the fourth inning, as the sun was setting, when Ethier was up to bat, I noticed that he wasn't wearing sunglasses anymore. Quite a nice touch.

In relation to this, I noticed Brandon Barnes not wearing eye black when he pinch-hit in an evening game, and the next day he was when he got the start in a sunny game.

I've played The Show for 8 years and can't remember this being a thing, although it could just be my memory...

Re: MLB 16 the Show: The Little Things Thread

I won rookie of the year with my rtts 3B and the next years first home game got to see my player get presented his trophy for it.. Its that type of stuff that really makes this game worth playing.
I just want more of it...

Like, give me more tiny scenes with my teammates.. Make me feel apart of the team.. I kinda feel cut off from them. I take my at bats, and then the games over...

Also they ought to make winning the world series something really special.. Say in franchise after you win it, show a banner being put up, have special patches put on our hats and sleeves.. Actually talk about how we won, maybe the game can call up a replay of a crucial play once in a while... It sucks being 3 years deep in rtts or franchise and forgetting who even won the last 3 series... Make those memorable..
If my player wins the w.s. or gets m.v.p. or cy young, really want to relish in my glory!

Its getting there... Year by year...

I've been really impressed with the broadcasts this year. Still room for improvement but really well done this year. Another thing, I don't know if anyone from the dev team can help but I really like the main theme used during the broadcast. Would it be possible to get a copy of that song?

I've only heard one of these stories before and I've played 7 or 8 games now. Maybe I will need to keep playing more

unfortunately it's only one story per player. I've heard the same stories about my guys so many times, and it's really starting to wear on me. Guess that's the price for abusing the trade system back in 14 and having a team full of superstars.

I love the speed on the baserunner diagram as well as saying what the runners destination is.

                            Great little, informative touch!

First hr you get a cut scene where your player gets the silent treatment when returning to the dugout.
