I have had some problems with Auto base running. But after reading an article about you may be touching a button on the controller without knowing it, So I noticed in some cases that was indeed the truth. On auto this year you cannot assist in most cases. After the patch have not had that problem but I think it is because now the runners are more aggressive.

I utilize default base runner almost 98% of the time but since the last show update it did something to classic base running as it was working flawlessly. I'm sure another update will come around to tackle that issue

I know what you mean. I only use classic and it's not working the same at all. Hope they are aware of it.

Yes, I am pretty stunned by this issue. I only use classic baserunning, and I've never seen the show actually break something through an update. They did this time.

In only a few games, I've already had issues where runners were thrown out because they slowed down into the bag even though I was using the L button command to tell them to advance.

I target runners almost exclusively, and that is BROKEN. Very upsetting, almost making this game unplayable. I don't know if I've ever seen this from any sports game, and from these guys it is VERY suprising.

Agree. I think I've never used this forums to complain about the game, but this baserunning issue is bad and even worst how much time has passed and there is no news about a fix. If I took this long in my job to fix a mistake like this, my boss would be all over me.

Classic baserunning was just messed up by the latest patch. They are aware of issues caused by this latest patch and are working to fix them.

I thought AUTO was fixed and I use Manual and there isn't any issues with it, as it is working as intended.

Classic baserunning was just messed up by the latest patch. They are aware of issues caused by this latest patch and are working to fix them.

it takes longer than a week to submit a patch.

Even after they fix what needs to be fixed, it has to go through Sony certification which I believe takes appx 2 weeks.

Different people are having different experiences. For me, Auto was fine except for the runners stopping at second on a hit and run before the patch. Now, its majorly glitched.

My biggest facepalm moment was last night, when despite me using L1 to tell me lead runner to advance, he was determined to dive back into second base while my batter was also there after a double. He should have scored an easy run, and became an out instead.

My guys also won't go back to 1st base on their own now should the pitcher throw to the bag when I tell them to steal, and are dead meat if he does. I've temporarily helped the issue by turning the slider down to zero for pickoffs.

I'll have to follow this thread to see when classic gets fixed before I can continue my season. It's a game-killer for me.

I really thought they improved the baserunning this year, with the left-stick selection it made things a whole lot easier for me.

Only gotten caught in no-man's land a couple of times so far.

Yes, all on auto. 80 games pre patch with few issues. Huge problems in every game post patch.

Yep just turned the game off from this bug had a game winning hit turn into an easy out because the baserunner freezed between 3rd base and home plate. In a baseball game this can be a game killing bug if it isnt fixed.
