I love this game so much. But I am going to play my 15 season until some bugs are fixed. Especially this one.

Sorry for posting/asking this here but is the auto baserunning bug PS4 only? Should also be on the PS3 version but I haven't encountered it yet.

Its on the PS3. My neighbor first 3 games did not have one, but now it is happening in every game.

Weird, I've been playing a lot of Conquest, which doesn't give me the option to use Auto. I changed the control type from default to classic, and it enabled Auto for Conquest... The problem is when I inadvertently take control now, classic controls suck.

I may have the solution, Go into game option .Batting and base running (ADVANCE R2). Changed the Base running interface to DEFAULT. Save and it should work. Let Me Know. My first 10 games all kind of running problems. Last 20 perfect. A caption will come on and off when you put a ball in play or have runners on base. It will say Base running is on Auto. Nice, so far LOL.

I've been on default since release. My biggest issue is still leading off/queuing steals cancels auto BR. I haven't had it switch off auto w/o doing that, but I've definitely had the issue where runners dive back on line drive base hits and get thrown out.

Not a solution but a way to get some games I did the lead off and the base leads, so far no problems. The dive back tried to happen but I can still hit the advanced button. But NO WAY THIS IS THE PERFECT FIT, I SEE. In a few weeks we should have the patch. THANK YOU 4 THE INFO.

I play with assisted/manual running but I am finding that the auto kicks in on it's own which has messed me up. Also, the "running diamond" says "Auto Base running on" which I believe it should say "off" if I'm using assisted. Hope they fix it in the patch because it is frustrating.

First game on a new franchise using auto. Matt Holliday on 2nd with two outs, Grichuk walks...Holliday out trying to steal 3rd. Uggh.

Yeah, my franchise is configured with classic / assist base running and the running diamond always says "Auto base running on". Weird.

Nope,

Tried variations of settings, such as the different baserunning controls (classic vs default), turned on and off runner Windows, never lead off or
Queue steals... Doesn't matter. Baserunners still don't run at random times, and auto baserunning turns itself on and off and will.

I stopped playing the game until the patch
