Something somewhat small but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if SCEA could implement it.

Change all defaults on the equipment to team default.

So the compression sleeves, batting gloves, elbow/shin guards, chest protectors, wrist bands, etc...the default color option would be the team default color versus simply black.

I play primarily as the Atlanta Braves and their team color 1 option is red at home but blue on the road so in order to have "correct" equipment for guys that wear the team's default (blue) color, I have to change it to a permanent navy blue or something.

I might even shed a tear if this happens.

Probably not gonna happen but I'd love for them to patch the "fast play" out of broadcast mode. It's really bugging the hell out of me that the catcher can't even get the ball back to the pitcher before it skips to the next pitch, nor can the 1B get the ball back to the pitcher after a throw-over before it cuts. I don't see what was wrong with letting people skip what they wanted to and watch what they wanted to. If I was so impatient I didn't even want to watch the catcher throw the ball back I'd play fast-play or hybrid. That broadcast is getting the shaft like this is crap.

Yeah we need this back, the skipping the ball being thrown back looks awful since it looks like the game just freezes for a second also it does not even make the game go back a lot faster since you have the ball initially being thrown then it skips for a second the catcher could have thrown the ball back in almost as much time.


As a matter of fact I would like for SCEA to return the catcher throwing the ball back, lessen the amount of cuts to players in presentation ( keep it but don't let it happen as often so more time is spent in the player's views I feel this is important for the batter and pitcher duel as it is less distracting and you can try and visualize the pitcher's delivery and think more without being as distracted ).

I also want to see SCEA bring back the ability to throw warm up pitches with your starter at the start of the game, since people who use analog pitching need to be able to get a rhythm for their timing and release point.

Also make the game play a legit smooth 60 fps at all times please.

They need to restore all the cut animations between pitches for those that would like to use Broadcast Mode.

I keep thinking only those that are batting are affected, but I guess Pitchers get their own little weird warping.

Easily patchable, should have been in the game to begin with.

If you want to skip these scenes, hitting X doesn't take tremendous effort, or you can use Hybrid or Quickplay.

Today I was trying to add a player to my bullpen in DD and take a guy out, and I had 3 guys with identical overalls. I tried to search stats for these players but I could only find their hitting stats. I pushed every button on the controller to see their ERA and WHIP and SO and other important pitching stats and I could not see them. It would be nice for the game to track those things for you so you could see how you are doing with each pitcher and batter.

In regards to broadcast presentation....why are we forced to use fastplay in DD? I only play that mode offline anyways. Why cant i at least have a choice to use broadcast? I understand it being default when playing human vs human online...but it seems silly.

Pretty sure they said it was for stability online, and they just didn't wanted to keep presentation universal across the mode, even though you only play offline.

Stick sucks for online though, feel like I am being quick-pitched every game.

I know you mentioned that you'll try to push the RTTS game watch adjustment where it will default to your last option selected if no input is entered. I thought I'd add it in here so it would be in same place.

I really hope they don't implement it this way. You will still be missing out on everything up until you enter the game.

Much better idea is to make it a toggleable option under Presentation. That's how it was last year for Game Watch, no reason they can't restore that and add an option for the Play by Play overhead view as well.

This, I feel those cuts are distracting and they still take time anyway since it's just a freeze for a second to reset everything.


I would rather just see a smooth animation for everyone to return to the position they were in, I feel this was something that they did a lot better years ago.

In this same thinking, PLEASE allow us to watch where foul balls land in Broadcast mode at least. What is the point to have fans reaching for foul balls if you don't get to watch them do it for more than one second????

This, I like playing The Show Live in player lock, but if you use a bottom of the order hitter this current set up would cause you to have the first few innings fast forwarded.

Yep, the reason I finally gave up on RTTS, was constantly coming into games up or down 10-0, and having zero sense of how it happened or how the game had progressed.

I'm not going to go digging through the box score and piece how I think a game happened.

Honestly the only thing I want is some presentation changes.

The green energy circle is incredibly hard to see, as someone else pointed out. I hope they change this for a different scheme, or maybe just make the circles bigger... no idea, but I have to stare quite hard at the lineup screen to discern whether my player is still alive or not.

The pitch selection display during games is... ugly... I'd prefer the backdrop be transparent instead of black, at the very least. If not transparent, they can add some style to it, but a giant black blob taking up the entire right hand sector is not appealing at all.

And lastly I realize this is probably not patch-friendly but we used to have three options for PCI feedback: Always on, Always Off, or Manual (no idea what the options were actually called, but that's essentially what they were). I'd like that manual option brought back. Currently I have to choose between never seeing the feedback, or always seeing the feedback. If I'm wrong please correct me, but I haven't figured out a way to summon it when the option is turned off.

That's it... I have to dig quite deep to even come up with things I want changed. I find this year's game to be fantastic and if a patch never comes out it won't bother me one bit.
