Re: Patch Ideas?
I've seen it during Franchise; one time it was so bad the pitcher was about to deliver and the hitter still wasn't finished sliding into place; had to call time. It's pretty rare though (once or twice a game?) and is fairly easy to ignore (you basically have to be looking for it).Comment

Re: Patch Ideas?
That is something that drives me nuts and they said it was to speed up the game but it only makes the game like 5 minutes faster and baseball is just a long sports. You cant really play baseball fast. A average baseball game is longer than any of the other 3 major sports and it sucks not being able to see just how close a foul ball was to being a HR or just how far a long foul ball went.Comment

You may want to check out the link to this thread! Looks like we just have to deal with it and continue to hit the "O" button to watch the game pan out but I end up cutting off all the presentation and commentary by hitting "O" before it skips to my scripted defense turn which is terrible.
I would hope they would fix it but it does not look like it according to the thread.
I play Franchise mode with Player lock so the experience is pretty much ruined.
MLB 16 does some things very well but if I could have just the animations from 16 I would stick with MLB 15.
Good luck with pressing "O"

Re: Patch Ideas?
I wouldn't say so. When they are on TV they both take about 3 hours to watch. How ever with out commercials a average MLB game is about 2 hours and 35-40 minutes. A average NFL game with out commercials on the other hand is about 2 hours and 15-20 minutes.Comment

Re: Patch Ideas?
This may seem like a small thing to come, but I personally think it would be awesome and enhance the game greatly if pushing down on the R3 joystick while at bat would give you a more expansive view from the batter's eyes. I find it silly that the developers would have it in the game all these years, but limit it so much. As it is now, the view is restricted from just beyond the 3rd base line to just beyond the 1st base line, with minimal up and down movement. Makes me feel like the batter's got a stiff neck!
My wish is that they would make it so you can literally feel like you're the batter. Maybe not a full 360 degree viewpoint, but at least let us have much wider camera movement. Let us look up at the beautiful sky, the sunset, the stadium, the crowd, the dugouts, let us look around a bit and soak in the sights and sounds of the ballpark! Again, it may seem like a small thing to some, but to me that would be as close to virtual reality as we can get on the PS4. Is this patchable?Comment

Re: Patch Ideas?
The dugout camera view in MoM games has this ability to look around the stadium. It's not a 360 degree thing, only about 240 or something like that. But the dugout view as the name suggests is from the dugouts. It's not at the plate as you are asking for. Is this something that SCEA could possibly provide in the years to come? Sure, it's software where almost anything is possible. But there isn't a hope in hell it will be patched into MLB 16. You are asking for a whole new feature. The best way for you right now to take in the sights of the stadium is through the replay camera.Comment

Re: Patch Ideas?
More of a cosmetic thing then anything else, but they need to fix the swing types when editing a player. Anything other then the default swing type leave the player with a two handed follow through. Ex: I change hitter from default swing type to One Handed Follow Through 2 it will look fine in the edit player screen. When you go into a game that player will have a two handed follow through no matter what you set for him.Comment

Re: Patch Ideas?
One minor cosmetic thing, but kinda annoying for those of us who create a virtual self in the game, is the inability to edit our birthplace when bringing an RTTS player from 15 to 16. We can edit created players birthplaces in franchise, but not our own player in RTTS.
Would that be a possibility to open that category up for editing?? When transferring over, it randomly assigns a birthplace. Even when it's done from the draft showcase, it is completely random and doesn't fall within the parameters of where you've selected as the region (eastern/central states coming up for a western region player, states coming up for an international player, and many other mismatches).Comment
