Well gentlemen! If you take a look back at last years streams. It was mentioned that the number of online franchise players vs the number of offline franchise players were far less so the development time went to offline.

I didn't feel the pain of numbers in a video game for the online franchise guys until I fired up MLB 16 and saw the majority of the player lock features from MLB 14, and MLB 15 were gone!

I then discovered I was in a small percentage of players that play the game with those features and actually used it.

So online franchise guys I now feel your pain! I don't know what MLB 17 will bring being the hardcore baseball fan/player I am. But I hope it finds its way back to the more realistic roots of baseball and less money making modes! But I guess that's the trade off!

Fewer steps to go to Stats page please (i.e. the one with Player stats/hitting analysis/pitching analysis. Need to go to Menu page and then scroll down

Suggest we can go to Stats page by pressing the Touch Pad on the controller. The Touch Pad offers little use now anyway.

Each year, I hold out hope for the same feature. I know it's easier said than done, and the team wants to do it right, but I would love a relocation/expansion mode added to the game.

For a relocation mode, you would simply get the roster of the team you are replacing. For an expansion mode, there would be an expansion draft.

The logo and uniform creator are already in the game thanks to Diamond Dynasty.

This only leaves the question of a stadium creator, which I know would be super intensive on resources. Personally, I would be fine with just choosing a stadium already in the game, such as a minor league stadium. Possibly, the team could put a few generic Major League stadiums in the game, and we could pick from those as a home stadium.

Of course, being able to create our own stadiums would be incredible, but that likely isn't realistic for now.

I am really hoping some of these features are added to The Show 17!

Feature? For manage mode get the gameplay right. By that I mean a realistic number of runs scored.

There are things I'd like to see added but if gameplay is as unrealistic as it was in the Show 16 then no amount of features will matter.

How about a top 10 career leaderboard for stat categories? Or a page with recent league history (champion, WS MVP, MVP, All-Stars, etc)

Also - pages that have each exclusive "club" and their stats from that year, assuming it was a single season type of deal. For example, the 40/40 club, 500 HR club, 300 Win club, etc...

And on the player cards - a list of achievements and the year it happened. For example, 7X All-Star (2010-2016), 3X Gold Glover (2012, 2014-15), 2X WS Champ (2011, 2015), No-Hitter (2011), 300K club (2011)

Unless they finally provide a long overdue re-vamp of commentary and replace Vasgersian, Karros and Lyons with some new blood i am not spending a dime on Show 17. These guys are tired. If not I will continue to play my franchise in The Show 16. I am realistic in that this may never happen, but this repetitive un-intuitive commentary is beyond awful and the fact they continue to ignore it every year is insulting to us as fans of the series.

Padres are now planning to use Christian Bethancourt as a reliever/catcher/infielder next year. Travis Wood played some outfield for the Cubs this year. Madison Bumgarner played as a DH. If Shohei Otani gets posted, he will see ABs as an OF or DH. I really wish The Show allowed us to use these guys in their real-life roles.

i hope they fix the schedules in rtts, it seems like after 3 or 4 seasons you play the same teams every season

i hope they fix jersey number selection, if the jersey is being used or retired by another player don't make it available in the selection screen and also stop making players lose their jersey numbers because a another player got traded, injured or lost their ranking.

to fix play next game in rtts counting the games being played.

Also fix pitch count and ball and strikes, too many times the pitch count would say 0 but the ball and strikes would 3-2, 2-2 or any combination that doesnt match up with the pitches thrown

This game needs AI for shorter inning games. Just like in other sports games if I play 5 minute quarters the AI treats the 20th minute (or last minute of the 4th quarter) like the end of the game. Imagine playing Madden and the CPU acted like the 20th minute was 5 minutes into the second quarter just because quarters are 15 minutes in real life.

If I choose a six inning length game in the Show and I am down by one going into the bottom of the 6th the AI should be bringing in their closer. The Show AI does not respect if you choose a game length other than 9 innings.

I would like to see total control over OSD's. I want pitches to show on the strikezone but not swing analysis. No Pitcher's repertoire but still have the strike zone and what not. Basically, have all of the OSD's separate and let us pick and choose. Not bundles or what OSD is connected with others.

Also, can we please have the Scorebug not disappear when the ball is put into play. It is realistic to see the scorebug during a play when watching a game on TV. The empty screen looses realism when it is just the basepaths icon.

TBF I doubt Otani sees any time as an OF or a DH if he gets posted..


But it would be nice to see a few jack-of-all-trades players get used correctly..

He's already said publicly he wants to bat while in MLB regardless if teams use him as a pitcher or not.

I would like to see a pinch hit option before the player comes up to bat. Takes away a little but that I have to wait for a player to be introduced and step into the box before being able to pinch hit with him. As it stands now this only works correctly when the pitcher is due up the next half inning.

Rotating interleague schedules or custom schedules would work as well.

Would like the back of the player cards to get updated when a guy gets traded or signs somewhere else. Instead of TOT, put the teams he played for there. EXAMPLE. TOR-PIT
OAK-LAD etc..............

Like A&A said a few pages back a weekly wrap up show would be nice. ALA CH2K8. this would be ideal for the off season for Hot Stove purposes and good for franchise mode weekly wrap ups on Sundays.

With quick pitch count on, when a relief pitcher is brought in:
by the opposition, don't give me a two-strike count. Better yet, give me a 0-0 count so I can see a couple pitches.
by me, give me a new count. The last one was (supposed to be) based on the last pitcher. Give me a new count for the new pitcher.

When substituting, let me sub in three or four guys before returning to the game, rather than the big intro each and every sub.

Let me sub anybody in my lineup at any time.

Not to beat a dead horse....... OK, I am. Better handling of complete games and how long a starter stays in without having to move these sliders for sim, move these sliders after game starts, move these sliders once this happens, move these when that happens. Its just plain foolish. I dont move sliders. I set them and its done. I dont feel you should have to consisantly move sliders around. Ggrrr, it just loses the effect of the game.
