Question. I didn't buy 16 this year so....did they introduce in managing the rosters/player movement the ability to sign and release players? It's frustrating to have to trade players into free agency. Or those who sign with a new team to trade for worst rated prospects (that's what I do...which I hate cuz I know I can be trading away players who are actually in the farm). Of course unless I'm dumb and never figured it out lol (is there a way?). If it didn't make it to 16, it really needs to be in 17. I'm on 15 BTW.

This may be more of an addition than a feature - I'd like to see plate discipline added to sliders. I believe this one addition would to a lot to add or subtract offense and would be a lot easier than messing with multiple sliders.

I really wish the option to completely turn off the Home Run Celebration camera was returning in 17! I never liked the Home Run Celebration camera since playing for the first time back in 07 and almost 10 years later I still hate it

These are a must in order to keep this game from going 100% stale.

1. Editable coaches with actual attributes and not just power +2 (so stupid)
2. Ability to trade up to 5 players (not just 3)
Draft picks are not being traded in baseball so please guys stop asking.
3. Tattoos. NBA 2K got around this issue so there is no excuse not to have it
4. List of previous champions and future ones obviously
5. Awards, accomplishments within the player card
6. Records for individual teams (Howard most HRs by a philly) etc
7. More and better player models. 2K and Madden are running away with this
8. Better uniform selection. Some have tight shirts some got baggy ones.
9. Better Hall of Fams induction. Current one is awful, get creative.

Player progression is finally working well in my opinion so build on that. Expansion teams, create stadiums, relocate team are all cool ideas which should eventually make their way into the game. Please put more life into the franchise mode, I know it's not a "money maker" but for a lot of us it's the only mode that we play.

This is still an ongoing legal battle. Look how many years the Ed O'Bannon case took to help take down EA's NCAA series.
SCE would be prudent to proceed cautiously in this regard.
The O'Bannon case started in July 2009 and didn't reach a settlement with EA until March 2016.

SCE would be prudent to proceed cautiously in this regard.
The O'Bannon case started in July 2009 and didn't reach a settlement with EA until March 2016.

All they have to do is buy the rights from the artist. Otherwise, you can always have "fake tattoos".
Also, some players already have neck tattoos scanned into the game, so it's more a lazy issue over legal issue.

Another option I would love to see added is the ability for batters to crowd the plate, maybe as a fixed setting in the player stance section or some other way. Guys like Rizzo and others would be more accurately represented and would add some depth to the pitcher-batter match ups.

I'd like to see a personal records tally for game, series, season, and career for every player. I.e...
Most consecutive hits
Most HR, RBI, 2b, 3b, BB in a month, etc.
Most strikeouts against team

The list goes on...

It's the players responsibility to get permission to have the tattoos in the game, SCEA can't negotiate in their place.

No, semantics isn't what I was going for at all. No need for the whole Mr. Knowitall thing either.

I'm just repeating what we've been told from multiple developers of different games over the years.

Fear of litigation is unfortunately a real thing these days and right or wrong, a false misrepresentation of someone could result in it.


If you want to have a real discussion without being condescending I'm more than willing to have one.

If you just want to argue to argue though you should probably just drop it.
