1-Are you saving the profiles?
2-When changing profiles are you hitting APPLY CHANGES?
3-Are you loading the right profile when changing?
4-Are you assigning the right profiles for teams(assuming you did apply the changes as well)??

Knight, several years back you showed us how to control a franchise(if you want to play it out like real life) and set the options up where you can still control the playoff rosters by placing guys on DL for one series so they are still on the playoff roster. I haven't played this in a few years so I cannot remember how you said to set it up at the beginning of the season

One year I played my whole season and however I initially set the franchise options up I made it where I couldn't control the DL manually therefore couldn't change my playoff roster from series to series. If you remember what I'm talking about you mind to give out that info again? Thanks

I am curious about this answer to the playoff DL myself. I'm going to give 30 team a try ,from my normal 1 team chise this year Excited ! Question. What do you guys do with trades once turned on ? Do you have to deny approve when they go through or are purposes by cpu ? Or do you have to trade back guys when the ridiculous trades you don't want go through ? I'm curious as to what happens trade wise. Thanks 4 replies in advance

What i used to do a few years back with 30 control is sim the games prior to the game I was playing but not look at the screen. This way I still get the scoreboard and I don't get spoiled.

I am curious about this answer to the playoff DL myself. I'm going to give 30 team a try ,from my normal 1 team chise this year Excited ! Question. What do you guys do with trades once turned on ? I always make my moves following real life so any trades I have to make I can make because I have "force trades on". It will tell me that the teams have to approve the trade but I can do that due to 30 team control. I have cpu trades turned off so I don't see any of those crazy trades.

Not sure if that's exactly what you're asking but if you follow real life moves that's the way I have done it in the past and it's worked well.

Is anyone else having the issue this year of the CPU taking over roster moves when you sim ahead a few days, even on 30 team manual control? I have been playing the Show franchise mode for 5 years and never had this happen before. For example, I will set the Orioles active MLB roster to have 14 hitters and 11 pitchers. I sim ahead a few days, (all settings are on Manual control FYI), and when I go back to team roster, the CPU has set them to only 10 hitters and 12 pitchers (not even a full 25-man roster?) it is very strange and wondering if it is also happening to others? i have tried everything on my saved user profile to fix it, no dice. I think its a bug...

The Rangers just traded Mitch Moreland during the first week of April, and I had no say in it whatsoever

All trades are immediate now. There is no pending period anymore. I'm not sure why they changed it to this, but it's a bit frustrating.

I've just turned trades off and will make them all myself.

I've been a 30 team control player the past few editions but I'm not this year because of this. Hopefully they patch that back in.

This might be a dumb question, but can you set the control back to the computer after starting a 30 team control franchise? I have a franchise I am running with some friends. We want control of all the teams for the fantasy draft, but after we would like to just control our teams. This isn't to stack any teams, but we each picked 5 teams to draft for and whichever one we like best we can keep for the franchise.

Just to reiterate regarding questions about line ups using 30 team control. You must start out using only 25 man rosters and then sim spring training. After you sim ST, then you manually add the 15 guys to each team. Everything will be fine after that. It really only takes about an hour to add guys on rosters. I also manually injured guys to reflect real life and I was done in 1.5 hours.

Thank you for the response to my question on the last page. The issue with doing this is, I have a carryover franchise file from MLB15 The Show (and 14 before that) and don't know how or if what you are saying can be done for mine. I started out with a 1986 roster file 2 years ago and am now up to the 1988 season...

This year is the first time it is happening to me where the CPU is taking over roster control from me (sending guys up and down from AAA), even though i am set to full manual 30 team control for everything. It really sucks for replayability

How do you guys deal with the guys that will miss the entire year b/c of injuries such as tommy john surgery pitchers? Do you just keep them in A ball for the year then bring them up for the following year? Not sure how to handle this.

You can manually injure them. Turn injuries to manual, go to the DL, hit R1 or L1 and it allows you to injure a player and decide the length of time.

That's what I've done in the past.
