Has anyone had issues with trades as the season goes on? I got a few the first couple months. But now at the deadline nothing at all. Ive saved and simmed through the 31st a few times and nothing. Ive made sure the CPU teams profile was set top auto. Ive raised and lowered the trade slider. Just not getting trades.

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
The other one in that section.
If you are using 30 team control....that is where you assign profiles(if you didn't assign the one you want with certain options at the start of the franchise....where it assigns all the same profiles to all teams until you change them there......otherwise you change them at the team association screen)

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
What you're suggesting is fine for a regular franchise. Not that I expect you to do this, but if you try to do a fantasy draft with 30 team control, you will see what I'm talking about. In theory, it should work with the draft set to auto and a separate profile set for the CPU teams, but for whatever reason it doesn't work.

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
I wasn't sure where to post this question but I thought since I'll be doing a 30 team control franchise this would be the place. I haven't done a franchise yet as I am waiting for the Hybrid to drop tomorrow and have completely forgotten from last years game. Here it goes: if I'm using 30 team control and I have the 29 other profiles set to auto so I'm only using one team will the 29 other teams still trade with one another? Or will I have to approve the trades first like an NBA MyLeague. Thanks guys!PSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

Just make sure in the CPU profile you set, that you put their trade option to AUTO.
On difference from last year(was hoping it would be patched) is there is no longer a 3 day window for you to see the trades in the offer screens.
They are instantly accepted/declined by the CPU teams now.
So you'll have to trade back the players if you don't like the trade.

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
I had this idea the other day and wanted to know if anyone else had done this or if you guys think it would work well:
So once you set up 30 team control, and set your CPU profile, what if toward the end of May when you start to see the playoff race take shape a little--or at least who will be buyers/sellers at the deadline--you would create a third profile for CPU teams that are going to be either buyers or sellers (haven't really figured out which one would be better), where you set trades to auto as opposed to manual.
I realized that was a rather complicated way to explain it, but essentially you end up with:
1. Your user team profile same as usual
2. A "buyer team" profile with trades set to auto (or manual--this is the part I haven't figured out)
3. A "seller team" profile with trades set to the opposite of the buyer profile
I want to see if I could get a situation where I didn't necessarily make every single trade in my franchise, but still be able to decline bad ones and sort of negotiate with the computer, rather than coming up with both sides of the deal by myself. Id like the CPU teams to initiate some deals, but not really with each other...if that makes sense
Just throwing this idea out there. Do you guys think it would be better to set the "Buyer" profile to auto trades (where you would still control the Sellers and be able to control what prospects you want in return), or the "Seller" profile to atuo (would be able to control Buyer trades and choose what prospects are "untouchable")??Chicago Cubs

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
For some reason I'm getting the prompt for injuries/lineup stuff for teams controlled on the other profile. Is there any way to stop this from happening?Comment

Make sure you have lineups/rotations and injuries set to CPU and not Manual.Comment
