Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Yeah, I didn't think the roster mattered at all but I tried the live rosters and I'm still having the same issues. Made two new user settings in game and deleted the old ones to make sure I was doing everything correctly. I'm just going to list my steps and hopefully someone sees the issue and can help.
- Two profiles ("user" and "CPU"). User set to manual on mode specific options for everything it lets me choose. CPU set to manual for things like roster movement (40 man and lineups) and injury management.
- Start a franchise. Load my roster. Press square to select all teams. Make every team that I'm not playing as "CPU" user and my team the "user" profile. Advance.
- Make sure computer control is OFF in the franchise option screen before it actually starts. Everything is default here.
- Franchise actually starts and I'm at the home screen. I press R2 until I'm at my user team (Angels) and then press R1 to get under the league page to find the disabled list tile. Click X to open it up. No names are on any team's lists (makes sense, nobody is on DL yet). Press L1, nothing happens. Press R1, nothing happens. Press X, Square, O and Triangle, nothing happens.
Am I an idiot or just making a huge mistake/overlooking something somewhere? I've booted up like 5 different franchises to test this and idk what's going on.Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Are you advancing any days? You might need to move a day ahead before you can set any injuries? I know when I set manual injuries, I advanced ahead a bit.Comment

I've simmed one day to a week into ST, also trying advancing to the regular season and simming a week all with the same result.Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Okay, so my "CPU" profile has to be set to default? I know I have injuries on manual for that profile, but I think my "USER" profile is set to default..
I'll give this a try.Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
CPU profile set as default and still not able to manually set injuries.
Am I the only one having this much trouble with this? It has to just be something I'm doing wrong, but I'm following the steps verbatim and getting the same results every time.
I highly doubt this has anything to do with it, but I keep losing my connection to the show servers during

So I just started a new one and it worked fine for me. Are you seeing the R1/L1 option at the top of the screen when you're at the disabled list? When I had injuries On or Off, that didn't show up, but when I had them on Manual, it did. Are you applying the changes when you leave the screen?
The only thing I can think of is that your profiles are screwed up somehow. Maybe deleting them and creating new ones?Last edited by Jr.; 05-16-2016, 12:42 PM.Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Yeah the "set to default" thing doesn't matter. I really can't fathom what is wrong. I'm gonna try a new franchise now and see if I can do it. Maybe it's a glitch for new franchises.

No, I'm not seeing an L1/R1 option at all.
I'm making sure that the changes for the profiles are applied when I leave the option screen (tried it both outside and inside of franchise mode). Yesterday, I tried a hard "reset" by deleting all user profiles and starting from scratch and that didn't help either.
I'm going to try to make an entire new user profile on my PlayStation and load the game up on it to see if it's something with my main, or a corrupt file messing with something (I'm just grasping now, because I have no clue what to do).Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Are you sure the injuries are set to manual on both your CPU and your User profile?
When I set up a 30-team franchise, I tried to figure out how to set injuries to manual, so I did it on my user profile... but it didn't work. After a little bit, I figured out that I didn't set injuries to manual on my CPU profile as well. Once I did that, everything worked.
So I imagine the injuries aren't set to manual on your user profile, and that is the problem.Comment

Re: How to Set Up 30 Team Control
so basically by setting this up this way will this allow me to view some cpu vs cpu with out games being simmed because they fall within a certain order?I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.

How to Set Up 30 Team Control
Yeah. I'm starting up the franchise (I've done this probably 15 times in the last two days lol) and hitting square to select all. Since my profile named "CPU" is used for the teams I'm not using its selected for the 29 teams that aren't the Angels. The Angels are put on my profile named "USER" and both of these 100% have injury management set to manual.
I go into the disabled list tile and this is all I see.. L1/R1 bring up nothing when clicked, nor do other buttons. I'm not turning on computer roster control or anything in the next screen before the franchise starts. Doing everything I've done in the past (and following Hustlin's video example) and still having this problem.
