This is my first time doing 30 team control so I have been trying to follow the forum, videos, spreadsheets, etc. to get things set up. I am having some issues getting everything to work as it seems that 17's menus are a little different than the videos.
I have the profile that I am using for my team (user) and the profile for the other 29 (AI). Selected all teams and put in for fantasy draft and immediately backed out so the real faces are gone. I have the AI profile set up that I only manage trades, waivers, injury management.I simmed to the 30th of March an input my 40 man roster.
The issue I am having is that players were still getting injured during spring training and I could not manual injury the guys injured in real life. Can someone help me out with my settings and how to manually put guys on the DL.

edit: fixed issue with guys getting injured but still cannot add guys manually to the DL. Anyone have a similar issue and was able to fix this?

Make sure you have injury management set to manual the Mode Specific Options and Injuries set to manual in the Gameplay options (under general and advanced).

I started over and turned off cpu roster control which I think if you have on won't let you manually injure players. With 30 team control it won't matter anyway.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but is the ability to control trades using 30 team control back in this year. I know they took out the wait period between trades being accepted and going through in MLB 16. Did they fix that or is it the same as last year (unable to veto trades)?

Thanks for letting me know. I agree...vetoing the trades before they occur was the only reason I preferred 30 team control.

I am trying to start my Braves franchise where I completely control everything Atlanta does. However, I also want to monitor the other 29 teams to keep things realistic. I'm fine with letting the other teams manage their injuries, lineups, rotation, etc... I do want to be able to control their trading. Is there a way to veto trades or control trades only for those other teams?

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone explained this or helped me figure out how to set something like this up. I'm super confused.

As far as I know you can't veto trades but can re trade the players back, the other option is just do all trades manually. I am new to 30 team myself but reading through all these various threads last few days this is what I've gathered, if anyone else knows something different the info would be much appreciated

I kind of figured trade veto wasn't in the game. I'm still stuck on how to set up 30 team control with only trades being manual for the CPU teams

To make all trades manual, set the CPU profile to "Auto" for everything (as you normally would, except trades, in which you set it to "Manual."

Does anyone have a strategy for adjusting OSFM minor league stamina as the years go on? A lot of minor league starters have very low stamina, for example Alex Reyes, but realistically a few years in these starters won't have 50-70 stamina.

This may be a dumb question, but the CPU will give players a day off occasionally, right? I don't need to control that?

This seems to have changed for MLB 17. I have 2 profiles, and I've set the team I'm using to one profile, and set the other 29 teams to the other. However, the teams do not follow the profile they are on. What I mean is, if I set my team to "Auto" for the roster/lineup/DL/etc controls, the other 29 teams change also. If I change the other teams, so does mine. Am I forgetting something from MLB 16, or is this an actual problem?

Edit for note: I am using a carryover franchise from MLB 16

When it says "welcome to the orioles!" And asks me which to do manual or auto on the opening screen and I do manual for all three, that doesn't actually apply to Baltimore does it?
