I notice it during cutscenes. I see it when they cut to the replay review on a manager's challenge. The framerate is just awful then

Turn your pitch select display off. The glitch happens when you have pitch select display off to begin a game. It will not display the swing / pitch info even if you have it on. You need to do what I mentioned in order to get the swing / pitch info to work.

Sadly I am getting frame rate dips quite a bit. Sucks....

I would also like to add that I am not having this issue with any other game except the Witcher....

So you're telling me that I have to see just don't notice it.

Nice to have you telling me what I do and don't see.

          Thank you....I guess?

Re: So the framerate is still bad...

In a situation like this where we're all playing on the same system (PS4) it helps to try to figure out if there is anything in common between people who do have a problem. It is perfectly valid for people to report they don't see it; that indicates it is not a program problem that effects everyone.

For me, I only see it occasionally during a cutscene. Never during actual gameplay. I have 70% of my HDD clear (I only play one or two games at a time and those are the only games I have on my HDD) in case that makes a difference. I also have a pretty fast internet connection which I wouldn't think would make a difference since I only play RTTS (100 Mbps.) but perhaps if someone is playing online that could make a difference.

I played 220-ish franchise games last year, and I'm about 80 deep this year. The skips, and other framerate issues plague almost every game I play this year, probably a handful of times a game. Never saw it happen last year.

Any details so we can correlate what is in common with those who see this and those who don't? I.e. how full is your HD, any other info?

I really appreciate your attitude, it's great to have guys which try to be constructive around here and it's one of the reason why OS comunity is one of the best place to discuss sports game in the whole web. So kudos to you, my friend.
But i think here we're wrong in the worst possible way. The game has framerate problems and bring this discussion around TV or PS4 doesn't help at all. Are we at the point in which is needed a Digital Foundry analisys ? I really hope mods keep this thread open, but i really don't get why some guys here feel the pressure to jump in every framerate thread just to let us know that they don't see any framerate issues. I mean, what's the point ? Who cares if they don't notice it ? Issues are still there. If we're really discussing if The Show 16 has framerate issues, then i'm out. Cause it's simply ridiculous. And honestly, it's not fair.

The only framerate issue I get is the transition from a cutscene or replay back to game play it stutters like hell and will stick occasionally

Also have noticed numerous osd bugs, such as the 1st career home run and when a player stat comes up it will say some like "jose Bautista 1th rbi of the season". Every stat like that has a th after the number... can't believe that's even a thing

Ditto! I'm old and wear bifocals but I have yet to see more than one ball coming at me. Wow!

As frustrating as it is, the fact is that some people truly aren't seeing framerate issues. Which makes it that much harder for the developer to troubleshoot and fix it. It sucks when you're the one who has a problem and other people in the exact same program/hardware/situation don't, but that seems to be the case here. I also know it's hard to believe when you see stutter or other such issues that other people on a PS4 with the same program don't have the issue, but that seems to be the case.

There are a lot of issues everyone has, and those are easier for the developer to reproduce and fix. No one is saying you don't have the problem. Some people are just saying they don't. So something is different.

I'm only really seeing it on replays. Stutters pretty bad.

Lol. There is definitely a frame rate issue. Not to the point where it affects gameplay or makes it unplayable, just in particular instances, most notably when the crowd is in the background. For that reason, I personally believe it has something to do with how the crowd is rendered.
