I love the game. Still playing it almost daily. i'd like them to:

    1) work on the grass
    2) correct the uniforms
    3) add more classic stadiums
    4) improve fielding (make it more fun)
    5) improve hitting physics (bloops, too many opposite field HRs, etc)
    6) more options in franchise: relocation, create a uniform, create a stadium
    7) smaller "in-play" ball
    8) Manually keep players from retiring
    9) More fielding cameras

Remember, not asking for a wishlist here...there are other threads for that. Was hoping to get input on what you think the major improvements WILL be.

Personally, I think they will be:

      1) enhanced graphics (animations, color palette, lighting, etc)
      2) DD focus - more functionality, card packs, ways to improve the process
3)RTTS process improvements and functional upgrades
      4) additional classic ballpark(s)
      5) since Jr is on cover, there has to be some focus on him and/or other new classic players added. However, due to possible legal issues, I don't think we will see any major improvements as far as making it easier for editors to create oldtime players and teams.

More DD and Online stuff would be my guess which I really don't see the appeal of but people like it. Ignoring Franchise mode and RTTS once again. Leading to basically be the same game for me and me skipping out on this years game.

Hopefully we finally get oldschool baggy uniforms!

For me personally I would like to see (and hopefully they will) an emphasis on:

            Continued improvement on ball physics

            Continued improvement to AI

Continued improvement on fielding and fielding animations

A revamp of our in-game presentation packages in terms of more stat swipes, more dynamic color commentary within franchise, and implementation of the MLB Network.

Continued improvements to Franchise Mode and customization options to create our own division alighments, how many teams we can have, old school playoff set-up (two division winners playing for the pennant etc)

Year to year Roster Transfers (not only franchise, Season and RTTS but expand it to include the ability to carry over roster files stand alone).

More classic stadiums (House that Ruth built, Metrodome, Astrodome,Joe Robbie Stadium (Old Marlins stadium) , old Tigers stadium to name a few)

If they have classic teams, seasons etc as a back of box feature that would be pretty awesome.

Excited to hear news on the new game!

Well one thing we know and heard SDS always looking for a way to draw in new clientele in addition to keeping us hard core baseball fans happy.

They probably will enhanced the outfield play with a cover man like Griffey Jr. I am sure online and diamond dynasty will get some love. Offline Franchise will get some love too. I think they know they might be close to losing some of us. Not enough to make a different of course.

Honestly, the game plays very well for me. Sure there are a few things that could be better, but nothing IMO that is a game killer.

But...What I would love to see them do is spend some time adding Relocation and "Create a Team" options like they have in NBA 2K and NHL 17. Along with division re-alignment.

This is probably the only area that I think The Show has fallen behind in the sports gaming world. Everything else IMO they do much better than the other titles.

Allow the use of retired numbers for classic rosters

Thanks to MLB, that will never happen. And it certainly would not be a back of box selling point for the game. I hate the fact that MLB diictates this, but it is what it is. One of the dumbest things I have ever seen in a video game.

And especially in a game where the sports history is so much of the game. More so than other sports I believe. Even if they would block retired numbers for current players but allow for created players.

I have a feeling that their upgrades to visuals will extend to grass/dirt texture this year and then maybe player models/animations next year. Ramone said they have a 5-year plan for upgrading the visuals to next gen. They already worked on lighting and textures.

Heavy dose of playing card/item collection stuff.

I think they'll mostly leave franchise mode as it is.

Probably, "its the show, you don't have another baseball game to try, so we won't do anything new, suck it."

This thread turned into a wishlist quite quick

I think the selling point this year will be 4K / HDR, which would make the game even more beautiful.
