I don't think you are in the minority at all. You are part of the mostly silent majority. Some people like to complain just to complain, no matter what the changes are and they are usually the most vocal.

I'm sorry to hear that some feel that way. I happen to like Harold Reynolds. But then again, I'd still buy the game if Gilbert Gottfried was riding solo, in a one man booth.

I don't think so. I think there are a good number of people who like the cut of Harold Reynolds' jib. There's also a large group who doesn't really care for his live commentary but are cautiously optimistic about his work with a script (the group I am in). The third major group is the haterz/Canadians, which is a bit smaller than the other two groups.

That's a new one on me for saying "wife." I've heard of battle axe, ball-and-chain, and stormtrooper before, but this is nice. lol

My wife initially viewed the PS/XBOX as an enemy combatant. She now views the systems as tools of diplomacy that are vital for coalition building.

I am Canadian and I am fine with Reynolds with a script because he can't go off on something that doesn't make sense or piss off some Canadians for a dumb comment he made (which who cares if he really thinks we can catch foul balls) Dont lump us in with Haterz lol

I would pay double if Gilbert Gottfied were in the booth. Especially if he told his version of The Aristocrats joke during the 7th inning stretch....

I don't even want to think about this, even in a hypothetical world.

I saw Gilbert Gottfried on the subway a couple of weeks ago. I told him how much I used to hate him as a kid because of his role in the Problem Child movies!

As for The Show, I am in love with this new MLB Network presentation and the new color men in the booth. I can't wait to hear how they turn out. I like Reynolds and Dan Plesac is a bit of a cornball, but he makes good points.

One thing I would love to see is for them to drop the "Theme 1," "Theme 2" thing they got going on and just create fake networks and have them each have their unique overlays and music. For example, re-name Theme 1 to "TSSN - The Show Sports Network" and have the TSSN logo on the scorebug and on the ticker, replay graphics, presentation pieces, etc. Then create another fake network for Theme 2 and Theme 3. I think this would add a lot to the presentation instead of having all the generic themes just having the MLB The Show 17 Logo.

                    I really like this idea.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Thursday night at work is going to drag! Can't wait to come home and watch thr stream. Really excited to see what the other two packages are. I'm also really hoping they talk about current events/stats for your season. But right now, anything is a much needed upgrade

I'll buy this game second hand if there is an option to turn his volume off. I'm not sending a nickel his way.

This is really just a prime example of how no one is really satisfied with anything. People complained for years about the same, boring old commentary in MLB The Show. Now they change it to give it a fresh new look and feel and people are still complaining cause their favorite color analyst didn't make it in there.

I personally am good with who they brought in.

Is Harold a great commentator? No.

                          Is he serviceable? Yes.

Will it give us a fresh new look in a baseball analyst in the game that we haven't seen? Yes it will.

Look pretty good. I skipped 16 because I didn't see enough but 17 is looking like a must buy

He was let go 11 years ago because of sexual harassment. I'm not a fan. When he is working a game or is on the MLB Network in any capacity, I shut it off. I enjoy people that discuss baseball, not scream to ensure that the audience is awake. It's baseball, not wrestling. Again, If I can disable his audio, I'll purchase the game second hand. Just giving my two cents. I'm done discussing it.

He shows passion for the game he loves and that's bad? Also, he made a mistake 11 years ago and we're going to still harp on him for that? People deserve a second chance.

I'm not saying he's a fantastic color analyst, but he's not Joe Buck either. I'll gladly listen to his commentary.
