My dream line up for them would be 6-7 fast guys and a power bat (that still has decent speed) and more speed on the bench. Haven't yet been able to pull it off.

That's the kind of thing I look for. Keeps me invested in the franchise longer term.

That’s quite a cool idea. I was thinking of the Royals, Nice jerseys with plenty alternates and I like the royal blue, Kauffman Stadium is really nice especially the scoreboard and their story is quite interesting with the fall from grace aspect from World Series to potentially another 90-100 loss season due to players leaving in free agency, retirements and even with the death of Yordano Ventura who would probably be killing it right now if he was still alive

    Thanks for the input man.

Like I’ll start it with another team and be interested for the first couple months of the in game season but then highlights of my Jays will pop up on my phone of FB and I’ll want to go back to a chise with them then I’m left with like 7-8 franchises saved on my PS4.

I was thinking of like watching highlights of the team I’d be playing as and stuff like that.

I will play with a National League team on play now here and there when I want something refreshing. But I can’t stick with any other team other than the Yankees in franchise. When I play with the NL in play now though, I use the Rockies, the Brewers, or the DiamondBacks. I don’t know why but those teams just stand out to me.

I just finished year one of my Red sox franchise. I lost to the Angels in the wild card game. I’m not sure what to do now because I don’t want to advance to the off-season as I want to carry it over to take advantage of the new retirement logic in 18. I know it’s only about a week but I’m having a hard time not playing. Franchise is all I pretty much play. Any suggestions on what I should do while waiting for 18?

Try out Fortnite as a game to play over the next week? It’s free and everyone and their mother is playing it right now. That and FIFA 18 is what I’ve been playing lately until The Show 18 comes out, then The Show will takeover the majority of my gaming time.

Hmmm.....I didn’t look to see your location, NE......yeah, I don’t suppose you have to worry about those for awhile. It’s 80 degrees here, I need to go mow the yard.

                  OVERVIEW
Barely over .500 in this stretch of games luckily Gordan, Yelich and Stanton have picked it up. Kang is still struggling but hitting for pretty good power. Will still need him to hit for a better average in the second half of the season. We are only one game behind in the division and 12 ahead of third place. We are also currently first in the NL wild card race. Sale is struggling which is tough to swallow after his cy young a season ago. I know he will turn it around though. On to the second half!

Is this the right thread to revive in order to drum up interest in playing Online Leagues for MLB The Show 17? Or did I just dig this up for nothing?

Normally just the normal franchise discussion, but it might help?
