35 here, my wife loves that I play games, and encourages me to buy games and play them, she says I don't spend enough money on myself
I hate doing all my editing in front of her though it would make her bored. like I said before I wish we had a import player for franchise mode to save us hours of wasting editing time.Comment

My issue with MLB is that I always flip flop on the Sox vs a rebuild. I make spreadsheets for my roster and track ratings important to a player's position so for resigning, trades, callups, I can pull it up on my computer and view it without flipping back and forth many screens on the game.
Madden is easier, there's really no interest in anyone but the Patriots. I win a SB or two, or play a season or two and Brady retires and I lose interest.
An aside, but it's hilarious so I will leave it here: I lost Super Bowl LI, to the Falcons, 17-16 because I couldn't spike the ball to set up the FG before the clock hit 0:00.
I was ending the file after that point win or lose to get set up for MLB 17 so it didn't sting like you would think. Plus having the real thing helped.Comment

I'm 25 and work in the music industry, traveling on tour buses about 8 months out of the year. I keep my PS4 in my bunk with one game....The Show.
Been on OS since I was a freshmen in high school and havent looked back. I remember the days of searching OS forums during computer class all of March, in hopes of MLB The Show news.
My lady actually bought me a PS4 gift card to order The Show this year. What a badass.Comment

Since everyone is sharing their relationship situations, I'll share mine.
Got married in October. Been with her since 2013. High school sweethearts that never dated. We're both big time gamers. We both play a multitude of games and have since we were young. Mario games, Zelda, Castlevania, Kingdom Hearts, you name it, she's played (and beat) it. Lol For her birthday, I bought her the Nintendo Switch with the new Zelda game. So needless to say, how I am with a The Show, she currently is with the Zelda game. Haha It's all she does! There's a mutual understanding and she fully expects the same from me when The Show comes out... lol
She also finds it weird how I spend 70% of my time editing rosters as opposed to playing the game, and I have to try and convince her that I enjoy it as much as actually playing the game. I can somehow never seem to convince her. Lol
My gorgeous wife and I! Life couldn't get any better... Unless it was already the 28th... haha

I'm about to be 41 and my wife is awesome about my gaming hobby since she is a gamer too. I also made her a fan of real life baseball, we are Reds fans, and Joey Votto helped sell her on baseball at first (she has a huge crush on him). She loves playing GTA 5 since it helps with her real life road rage and Fallout 4. I have tried to get her into The Show but she says its way too involved. Every year around August I tell her I probably won't buy next year's version unless they really add something and every year I pre order in January. At this point she rolls her eyes and says "whatever".
Gaming has been therapeutic for me dealing with PTSD and anxiety issues I have from military life. When I'm focused on something intently I come out of panic attacks much quicker. Anyway that's my story.
