I believe UniWatch. I couldn't find the article, but on Wikipedia it does show only the red cap now.

Both are currently for sale on the Cardinals website as authentic on-field caps and are still in use. The only Uni Watch article in the past two months has been about the Cardinals switching to a two-layer 3D logo on their helmets. The first layer is blue and the second layer is white on the red helmets. Mirror image of their red hats and looks cool on a helmet.

The Wikipedia page likely has the red hat because it's the primary hat for home and road. Blue is only worn on the road vs teams with red home hats.

the honest answer would be that it is not a game breaking bug, so therefore it's put on the back burner and not important over other things.

Getting the Unis correct should be a no-brainer. It should be the very least that we can expect to be accurate. Even unis that they've gotten correct for the past few years, are wrong this year. Why would they do that? Why deliberately screw something up that you've always done correctly?

Instead of spending time creating fantasy uniforms, why not just spend that time making them accurate. I find it very difficult to believe that this mythical "style guide" depicts so many incorrect uni designs. It doesn't make sense.

I also feel that uniform inaccuracies ARE a big deal. Anything that pisses us off, and warrants a sticky thread, is a big deal.

the brewers have the wrong sock color with the navy brewers jersey they have the light blue socks and should be navy socks it looks ridiculous

Ok here's my official uniform errors and omissions report on the Marlins. May add some pics into this thread for proof when I get a chance...

Marlins Alt 1 all orange jersey should be paired with the white pants with the black piping not the orange piping as the game has it. The correct pants are under the Alt 2 black jersey but in the default setting they are incorrect.


Marlins road gray jersey has a sleeve patch with the Marlins logo but with the center being black, it should be a Marlins logo with the center being white, exactly how it is on the black jersey. This was correct last year not sure why it's wrong this year.


Marlins Home '95 jersey correctly has a black cap but should be paired with the all black batting helmet not the teal batting helmet. When the Marlins wore the black cap they always wore the black batting helmet.


Marlins Road '95 jersey has the Florida wordmark, player names and numbers wrong. The O in the word Florida should be completely filled in white, not gray. The player names and both the numbers on the back and front of the jersey should not have a white outline they should be black with only a teal outline. The 93 road jersey is 100% correct and in 95 the team wore the exact same road jersey so the same jersey should be used here. The cap should not be all teal. It should be either all black or teal with black brim. Batting helmet should be all black regardless of which cap is worn.


This is the complete uniform errors report for the Marlins. I'm working on doing these full reports per team. Hope it helps.

Has this been posted in the sock thread? Ramone posted a thread saying the style guide doesn't include socks so if there are errors to report them in that thread.

That thread was closed because it was for this year's game which is already out. This has to now be addressed for next year's game.

Im really happy they decided to match helmets with caps this year. So awesome. With hat being said, it looks like Dodgers only have matte helmets for each uniform. I only checked 3 of the caps/helmets. But even the 70s hats were paired with matte helmets. I like to use retro rosters, so sometimes you have to change caps In order to have proper helmet.

Also seeing these unis I wish the team could try and get their fabric rendering a bit better, especially the shimmer fabric used for jersey scripts. NBA 2k does this really well on their jerseys.
