the brewers have the wrong sock color with the navy brewers jersey they have the light blue socks and should be navy socks it looks ridiculous

Simple fix. Pair them with the home pants or the Alt 3 pants.

The problem have with all the alternates this year is that unless they are designated as "road" they are paired with white pants. So if you use them on the road you manually have to scroll through and select the road pants. NO team ever wears white pants on the road, so I don't know why they just dont default to grey pants on the road.

With all the constructive criticism that developers are (hopefully) reading in this thread, I just wanted to use a post to thank whoever fixed the Mariners northwest green alts this year. They look freaking beautiful now, thank you! Thanks also for fixing the squatchee on the cap that's paired with that uni.

But the road greys have the wrong numbers, supposed to have the outline

not sure if this is an error or if the mariners are making this change in 2017. But for the cream alternate jersey's the helmets have the trident m instead of the S and compass rose. It is possible the mariners made this change and will wear these helmets during the season but as of last year it is incorrect.

Yes I have noticed this as well about the alternates... Hopefully this can be fixed.

In franchise the road team is given gray pants, I've had it happen in every alt game with the Rockies and Braves

Here's the complete errors and omissions of the Yankees...

Home and Road jerseys both have the cap logo incorrect. The team uses a slightly different logo than the chest logo and the batting helmet logo. This picture shows the in game cap logo on Tanaka and you can see it is different than the cap logo on Severino in the middle pick. For comparison I showed a real life batting helmet and you can see the game has the same logo on the batting helmet and on the cap logo when they should be different. Below is the three different NYY logos side by side.


Home '73 cap logo actually should be the helmet logo that is used for the current Home logo at the moment. Home '73 also should have pinstripes connecting from shoulder to collar like the current home jersey has.


Both Home and Road 1913 should have black, not navy, black caps and logos. The Yankees did not use navy in 1913.


Road '73 wordmark is incorrect. 1972 was the final year of the wordmark that appears in the game, in 1973 the white outline first appeared much like it currently is today.

Lastly, in both road throwbacks 73 and 1913, for some reason the gray on the jerseys do not match the pants. They are not the same shade of gray but should be. In the picture below the first photo is of the current 2017 road and you can see the jersey and pants are the same time but in the other three pics the tones are different between jerseys and pants.

All current jerseys are correct, only the throwbacks need some tweaks...

Home '98 cap should have a purple brim


Both Home '98 and Home '99 jerseys should have purple player names and numbers on the back. The Canseco and Boggs jerseys below are of real jerseys, the Archer pic below is how the jerseys look in the game...


The Road '98 jersey should have black undershirts, socks, and accessories, not purple...

@silverbullet are you sure that devil ray black purple hat was in-game? I thought the ray hat was all black and used as an alternate and the went strictly with the all black TB with the ray on it.

Well actually neither devil ray cap was ever worn on the field in 98. This picture is from the November 1995 unveiling of what was supposed to be the original devil rays uniforms...


In that pic it's very hard to make out because of how that gentleman is standing but yes the cap on the white home jersey has the purple bill. I've researched this to be sure.

Now here's the problem... by the time 1998 arrived, the caps were changed to the TB cap which was originally supposed to be an alternate, and the purple undershirts and socks of the home uniforms was changed to black.

So in reality those uniforms were never exactly worn on the field. So what The Show has for the 98 Devil Rays is basically a concept that never took the field. My response to the errors on those uniforms is based off the concept of this uniforms. For whoever wants the accurate uniforms from 98 as far as what was actually worn? That would be the 1999 uniforms which all have black undershirts and socks as well as the TB cap.

Tigers uniforms errors and omissions...

Home uniform MLB batterman logo on the pants should be white and navy like on the jersey but for some reason has orange in it...


Road jersey is missing player names on the back...


Home 1918 cap should be white with navy pinstripes and navy brim. In 1918 the all navy cap was only worn on the road jersey which was a solid gray. I know these pictures are black and white but in the picture with Babe Ruth, Ruth is wearing pinstripes meaning the Yankees were the Home team and so the Tigers player next to him is wearing a road jersey...



Lastly the shade of orange used on all the Tigers uniforms is way too pale and faded and comes off like a peach color. I've included a side by side pic of the Tigers and Orioles orange jerseys and you can see the envious look Miguel Cabrera gives Adam Jones because he's jealous of the nice vibrant orange that the Orioles have in this game. The all orange BP jerseys have yet to be worn in real life but I've included the players wearing the orange caps in real life to show how this color looks for the Tigers in reality. This applies to all orange on the Tigers uniforms not just the road BP jerseys

Thank you. I enjoy uniforms and the time it takes me to do these is actually enjoyable and interesting for me. As far as The Show, I love that too and if my love of uniforms can help improve the game in any way than it's all worth it. More to come, stay tuned.

Does anyone else feel like almost all of the red in the game is way too muted? The Blue Jays finally got their blue fixed a couple years back and now have a gorgeous, vibrant blue alt, but then you look at teams like the Reds and Nationals and their reds look so dull in comparison. They don't "pop" at all in the game. The Cardinals actually have a nice red it seems, but they seem to be the only ones.
