Does anyone else think it's time for SDS to really think about adding these to the game? We're at the point now where theres 1-2 guys (or more in the case of the Cubs) wearing them on almost every team.

So, someone asked on twitter about the helmets being patched in here is the answer...

@Daniel_Dillard I wouldn't expect them until 18, but you never know.

A couple of things bother me about this:

1. They patched in matte helmets for multiple teams last year
2. They made the uniforms a focus this year so for them to just let uniform related things, that they can and have fixed before, remain unaddressed until next year is a very bad look.

2. They made the uniforms a focus this year so for them to just let uniform related things, that they can and have fixed before, remain unaddressed until next year is a very bad look.

I don't want to belittle the extensive work SDS does each year, but I actually somewhat agree. Particularly because 2K does extensive updating to uniforms during the season. The precedent is there.

i don't understand why they would patch in matte helmets then they should fix the alternate jerseys for the dbacks, padres, white sox, blue jays, brewers, and marlins since they're all unusable do to the white line on the left shoulder. This was an issue last year and still hasn't been fixed.

Well to begin with, they are two separate issues. Last year, they patched in teams matte helmets for every team but the Yankees. The Yankees revealed theirs toward the end of the year. So buy doing this they have created a precedent and shown they have the ability to do it. Regarding the rips on the jerseys, I just checked and the only Jerseys that have that issue are the White Sox black alt and the Blue jays red alt. The White sox rip seems to come and go. I agree it would be nice if they could fix this issue too, but they are two different things.

it's on the dbacks home '01, the padres alternate road, the marlins black, and the brewers 2 navy jerseys. it disappears when the camera shows an up close shot of the player but whenever the camera is at a distance the line appears

Are you playing on PS4 or the Pro? Also do you have the disk or did you go digital?

I'm on the PS4 and I have the digital copy and checked those jerseys and it's not there. Only 2 it appears on is the Jays Red and White Sox Black. The Jays is very, very bad, the Sox it appears randomly.

I'm wondering if it's based on the system or copy of the game

I believe UniWatch. I couldn't find the article, but on Wikipedia it does show only the red cap now.

They wore the "Sunday" bird on the bat hat last night.

Didn't know if this has been discussed or not but what is up with spring training/batting practice jerseys? A number of the sleeve but nothing on the back, no name or number.
