Ive noticed in rtts the pitch count doesn't add up. You can see the count is 1-1 while you are in the field but if its a new pitcher or the start of the game it would be 0 pitches.

Just finished a conquest game. Right away I noticed Porcello pitching again. 3 games in a row. That's done on purpose. He is a rookie mission. Very cool they keep putting him out there. It was random last year. I again did not notice any MLB Network presentation and I am definitely selecting it. I noticed dips in framerate. I played at Target Field. The announces still have no idea it's a conquest game. Kept calling it like it was a full game, I don't blame the devs for this. Not that big of a deal. Once again, NO PLAYER OF THE GAME INTERVIEW OR HIGHLIGHTS!! I am really disappointed that it's not after every game. Why did they get rid of it?

Started my dynasty (season mode) today. First game was terrific. Game looks utterly fantastic in HDR on my LG 4K TV using the enhanced visuals mode. It was only one game but everything just felt right.

Adonis Garcia scraped one over the right-field wall for the only homer. I drew four walks (including a Kemp leadoff walk to start a 9th-inning rally) and walked three myself.

I'm going to spend a lot of time playing this this summer.

Same here I have played several games with 1 or no home runs hit in low and high scoring games. I also have yet to hit what I would call a monster home run shot. But I am using the Phillies so maybe that's why? lol

          I play on All Star.

So...do I need to use my Stubs as bribe money for these umps? I am all over the corners of the zone. I'm getting nothing for calls. It's unbelievable, losing a game where you are repeatedly throwing pitches in the zone and they're called balls. They're essentially forcing you into every hitter's wheelhouse because you get squeezed so badly. The last two games were appalling. Walked a guy on 5 pitches, 4 in the zone. Ended up costing me the game with high pitch counts.

What's more, in the 1st, Harold said the ump has a wide, but short, zone. That is, you won't get calls up and down, but you'll get them left and right. That was nowhere near reality for me. Things touching the outer black were a ball every time. Well, it wasn't NOWERE near reality, because pitches in the bottom and top corners--though still clearly strikes--were called balls as well.

I feel like I'm going crazy.

This was something I couldn't stand in previous versions.
I remember uploading a pic showing three pitches where the ball was approximately 90%+ in the zone that were called for balls to prove it.
It was pretty frustrating. I feel your pain.

Played another DD game against the CPU. Announcers made some mistakes. Game went to extras and Matty mentioned something about a cooking program being cancelled since the game was running long. Nice touch. Still no player of the game and I hit 3 HR with Dozier. I've noticed my teams logo getting stuck on the screen in certain places. Sometimes the whole top bar gets stuck too. I'm liking the coaches giving signals and the hit variety. For some reason, I am having a hard time stealing bases. I have Dee Gordon and he is getting thrown out by a lot and getting terrible jumps. I just push L2 once and let the stats take over but man, he is not the Dee Gordon he is supposed to be.

I am loving the soundtrack and it seems like it loads the games faster. Oh and I added rookie Max S(reward for getting 15 Dbacks) to my rotation and this time Porcello didn't pitch, Richards did.

Loving this game. I rarely buy sports games in back to back years but there was enough change this year that I had to buy it. I play RTTS mostly and loving the new rpg conversations they added.

I have a question for whom ever might know. I currently have about a $-950k per week cash flow in franchise mode. I am slowly losing money from my bank. I want to know what happens when I run out of money, and also how do I better start making money?

The 3D audio in The Show 17 sounds awesome (and check out Horzion as well, just got a 3d audio update via game patch), with one exception, the commentary stands out as very flat compared to the other high quality sounds going on in the game. I guess this is probably unavoidable.

I love the variation in strike calls. It's the one thing that sets MLB The Show out from other sports titles. I see as many that should be called pitches inside the strike zone missed as I see balls called strikes that are outside the zone.

I'd prefer it the way it is. It would quickly become predictable and stale if there was no variation in calls. It's the kind of thing that a game like Madden could be released with but then have patched out the game because the tournament crowd don't like it. That's what sets MLB The Show apart. Just my opinion though.

Just had the catcher throw the ball back to me eight times in a row. As one of the more vocal critics of them removing real-time broadcast, it's not entirely terrible this year. Better than last year anyway.

I'm pretty thrilled I'm able to hit HR's in the Show now like the one Longo just hit in real life.
