That was me but I bought a new 4K TV last night. Lol.

If you have a Pro and your TV is 1080p and doesn't have HDMI 2.2 then the only option you will get is Higher Framerate. Trust me though, higher framerate option on 17 on a 1080p is still gorgeous.



It looks great. You can do it on a 1080p TV if it supports HDMI 2.2.

I mean MOst PRO PATCHES ALLOW ENHANCED VISUALS(THE DOWNSAMPLING) even ON A 1080P DISPLAY.


Most 1080p displays aren't 2.2 2.2 is moresoa 4k tv thing so

A little things question that I've wanted for years... in practice mode can we select jerseys? If we can't, what is the default selection?

In the past it's always been the primary home white jersey is automatically selected for you. But clearly the mode is about taking BP so the default uniform for that mode should be the BP uniform so I'd love to have this implemented.

From videos is looks very smooth 60fps smooth almost my tv does motion interpolation of 60fps so it make it look even better but ill be honest I wanted to see the anti alasing effect "enhanced visuals" would be allowing moreso than framerate boost


Im anyway now considering only being a Nintendo switch and PC gamer anyway.


the shows the ONLY game keeping me on and if this years doesn't wow me(after having about 3 yrs of the show "kinda" wowing me) then I think ill be jumping ship.

Wow! Playing a game in Houston against the A's and I hit a chopper towards first. First baseman throws it back to the pitcher who throws to second then the throw to first for a double play. Looked pretty cool.

Can you explain this a bit more? This doesn't make sense.

Why did the first baseman throw it to the pitcher for him to throw to second and then back over to first, seems like there should never be enough to for the extra throw and still complete the double play.

To the guys, who have the game. I have the game as well, and I'm trying to find out where are the player quirks located? I mean the place for definitions ect....

Pitcher wasn't on the mound when he received the throw. If I see it happen again I'll save a video clip. Could be a bug but it looked pretty neat.

I've said it a couple of times that the framerate on the regular ps4 is incredibly smooth to my eye. If I'm not real sensitive to framerates, will I even notice the difference between the reg ps4 and the high framerate on a pro. I'm trying to figure out if a pro is worth it for me since I only have a 1080p tv

Why was the Nike Hurrache removed? It is only about a year and a half old and still worn my many. Also why do we have Rawlings batting gloves still in? No one wears those. I havent see someone wear a rawlings batting glove in years. Thanks.

Someone with a review copy told me you could not play a full season in Retro mode but rather only single games/exhibitions.

Can anyone confirm?

I also saw someone going through different views while playing a regular game and noticed "Retro" from the options concerning views. If choosing Retro I'm assuming that wouldn't change the gameplay mechanics at all between the pitcher/hitter would it?

One other question, can I make Shea Stadium my home stadium during season play?

There's no double header on June 10. For that series it's just four games from June 9 to June 12
