Bruce is the same age as Cutch and lately with a better production. Doesnt Cutches 2 year slump go into account?“If you meet the Buddha in the lane, feed him the ball.”-Phil Jackson

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
How is he playing? Whats is stat line? Either way, its wont be for Bruce or Wheeler. Itll take a top prospect. Nets dont have many of them. Maybe Rosario straight uo for Cutch would work. Maybe Gsellman straight up would work. But Bruce and Wheeler and thise likes wont get it doneOakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit TigersPittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay PackersDetroit Red WingsComment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
In 2015 & 2016 Jay Bruce was worth 1 WAR total. Not each season, but total. In the same timeframe, Andrew McCutcheon was worth 6.5 WAR. So there's a big difference between the two. Even Cutch's down year was basically as good as Bruce's 2016 which was his highest WAR total since his 2013 seasonComment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Is this a fair deal? It is early in the season but I'm looking for an upgrade in the OF for the Giants. Revere would be my everyday RF and Parker would split time with Span. Pence is about ready to lose playing time with his .050 batting average in the first 10 games.
Angels trade:
Ben Revere (their 4th OF but he plays against LHP)
Giants trade:
RP Derek Law (they can use him as a set up man)
OF Mac Williamson (he was in my minors and he would be their 4th OF)Follow me on Twitch

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
It doesn't appear BOS needs Vogt, solve 2 problems with one trade...give BOS equivalent value for Vogt and move him to TOR. What did they give, 2 C's?"for love of the game" - B. ChapelComment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
They have no need for Smith, as they have Bell at first. Think Rosario straight would workOakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit TigersPittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay PackersDetroit Red WingsComment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
I think Rosario is a tad too much though. And yeah they have Meadows to fill in for Cutch. Probably Gsellman plus something good gets them there

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
I thought that as well but with them having no need for Smith, outfield of Polanco/Meadows/Marte theres no real need for a Nimmo or Conforto. Who else is there? Checcini is only a C rated prospect and not much else position wise. Gsellman and what? Why i went with Rosario. Maybe a Cutch and KeBryan Hayes for Rosario might work?
