MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread

Is their a feasible/realistic way to get Edwin Encarnacion back to the Jays. I seen an article IRL saying that the Indians discussed a trade with Boston but nothing materialised. Was thinking of selling high on Smoak after his surprise last season and maybe throw in a prospect as a sweetener?

Another guy I was thinking of targeting was Jung Ho Kang but the only thing putting me off his situation IRL

Any suggestions?

Im looking for help moving a few players of the Mets roster. Starting off with Travis d'Arnaud. I cant deal with the weak arm behind the plate anymore. He started off hot last season for me hitting .296 with 11 hr in 52 games then got hit with a season ending injury but now he rides the bench mostly.

Next is Seth Lugo. Last Yr he went 7-3 w/ 2.83 Era. This Yr he is in AAA because of full Rotation.

And Maybe Brandon Nimmo. Last season hit .266 w/ 5 hrs in 68 games. Now hes blocked in the minors.

Rosters are up to date with real life transactions except the very few ive posted about here. My lineup is pretty much set so im looking for Prospects improve this Mets system. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

Is there any possible way to get Buxton to the Brewers? I'm in 2017 roster fully intact with no moves so far. Only in mid May but looking ahead to the deadline or offseason to make a deal for him if possible

Speaking as a twins fan hes untouchable for the most part. It would take a ransom and a half to even start the conversation. Not familiar enough with the Brewers system to start. Hes our single most valuable asset.

He is worth a good bit over $100 million in surplus.

Keston Hiura is worth $22.4 million.
Corbin Burnes is worth $22.4 million.
Brandon Woodruff is worth $15.6 million.

That's only $60.4 million with three top 100 prospects.

For MLB talent I doubt the Twins would want anything the Brewers have to offer outside of Chase Anderson.

Ok, my only solid idea would be trading Braun for Puig and sending him to MIN and also sending them those 3 guys + Chase for Buxton. Not exactly sure if that's enough but I can see what you're saying that there isn't a very high likelihood of him being traded right now

Braun for Puig works well value wise. I few Braun as more valuable even with his down year in 2017, but it's a wash between them.

If you really want to do those three, Puig, AND Chase for Buxton that's fine...just unrealistic and a lot to give up for one player.

For value to basically be spot on it would be Puig plus those three prospects. Puig and Chase I believe both have around $40 million in surplus so one of them with the three prospects is what Buxton is worth.

If I were to trade away the same or similar package as the brewers did for Yelich what could I get in return if I went for a pitcher instead? I have no reason as of now to do the irl trade because domingo Santana is playing at a MVP level for me and shows no signs of regression because he's actually playing better as time goes on
