I thought about both SRF and Connor Greene but I think I'll wait on them a bit longer. Papelbon doesn't look bad at all so he is definitely an option. Another guy that I like that is also a FA is Jordan Walden.

Yeah Skillets recommendations were a bit more expensive then I would like. I don't know the value of Bruce Rondon but since he is in AAA he shouldn't be too much as I really like him.

Feltz isn't that expensive. He's probably worth 2 C pitching prospects. And Rondon is probably worth the same if not less

Does a dozier to TB make sense gor Guerrieri, Honeywell and Mallex Smith?

Dozier: 17/48/.307/2.3 war in 73 gp

          Mallex Smith, 70 B
          Brent Honeywell, 65 A
          Taylor Guerrieri, 64 C

I posted once already, but I think it got buried. I'm looking to bolster my Angels bullpen, especially the middle relievers. A good closer would be nice too. I'm willing to trade anyone, within reason (and not Trout). Have any potential trades for me?

This seems pretty good to me. Honeywell is on par with De Leon and Mallex Smith is a nice second piece to the deal. If you feel guilty bump Guerrieri to a player with low B potential

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread

I'm doing something a little different. No teams have made deals outside of myself and the deadline is nearing so I'd like to construct some trades that I can execute for other teams at the deadline. I will only include Division Leaders and teams five games within Wild Card as buyers.

                    NL
                    Nationals DL (58-37)
                    Cubs DL (56-38)
                    Dodgers DL (64-33)
                    Giants -- (56-41)
                    Marlins -- (52-42)
                    Pirates 1.0 (52-44)
                    Cardinals 3.5 (49-46)
                    Mets 3.5 (49-46)
                    Phillies 4.0 (48-46)

                    AL
                    Red Sox DL (60-37)
                    Indians DL (73-22)
                    Angels DL (55-42)
                    Yankees -- (51-44)
                    Rangers -- (49-47 | User)
                    Astros 1.0 (48-48)
                    Blue Jays 1.5 (47-48)
                    Tigers 2.5 (46-49)
                    Rays 4.5 (45-52)
                    Orioles 4.5 (44-51)

Legend: Team Name | Division Leader, -- Wild Card, Games Back, Record

                    Deadline Trade Available(s):
                    Jose Quintana - SP - W/L - 6-4 | 105.0 IP | 74 SO | 24 BB | 2.91 ERA | 1.15 WHIP | 2.3 WAR
                    Melky Cabrera - LF - 349 AB | 44 R | 9 HR | 39 RBI | 0 SB | .327 AVG | 3.1 WAR
                    Mike Moustakas - 3B - 291 AB | 38 R | 9 HR | 31 RBI | 0 SB | .285 AVG | 2.4 WAR
                    Brian Dozier - 2B - 347 AB | 50 R | 26 HR | 63 RBI | 3 SB | .271 AVG | 3.0 WAR
                    Jake Odorizzi - SP - W/L - 5-4 | 107.0 IP | 89 SO | 26 BB | 3.20 ERA | 1.17 WHIP | 2.4 WAR
                    Santiago Casilla - CP - SV 26 | 33.2 IP | 32 SO | 11 BB | 2.14 ERA | .95 WHIP | .4 WAR

I'd like to see trades involving 3-4 of those guys. I definitely want to see a deal around Casilla who is pitching lights out and leading for Reliever of the Year. Old guy who is pitching out of his mind that could lead to a weird overpay to the A's. (Helping a division rival here) Anyone want to pitch in and spice up my franchise trade deadline? Let me know if any other details need to be provided, I won't advance until I've heard back or enough time has passed in which I can tell there won't be a response.

You think the Rays would be interested though? I mean the offer is solid but doesn't really fit their MO.

They just dealt Forsythe for DeLeon, I have a hard time seeing them deal 3 prospects for a year and a half of Dozier.

He said they were within 3 of the division lead. I agree it isn't the Rays way, but if they decide they want to make a run at it I think it's at least fair value and it's plausible

Yeah I get what your saying, I just think they'd look into cheaper options, or go dumpster diving for someone that can platoon with Miller before they give up 6 years of Honeywell.

That's fair. Maybe they'd rather go get someone like Derek Dietrich and give up one of their excess pitchers like Andriese or something along those lines

Definitely seems more Rays-ish. You know they're cheap lol.

I signed Luke Hochever In my Jays franchise. He thows hard and has been a decent middle relief option for me. I think I got him for 600 K over 2 years.
