Ad ive mentioned before, im controlling 12 teams (2 from each division). AL Central i had a struggle between Twins and Tigers. With me having to keep JV and Miggy and the iggy trade to the yanks a bad idea, the decision is now over. Going with twins along with the sox.

That being said, what can i get for perkins, santana and hughes?

Have to see how Perkins responds to shoulder surgery. Hughes would get may be a high C prospect and same with Santana. Nothing too good is going to come back in a trade for those guys

I am just trying to have logical trades hence why I am on here for the first year since playing the games for a few years now. I am willing to give up a prospect of mine currently but i would also like to trade Tanaka and Gardner for some value to help pull off the Yelich trade. I do understand why Yelich is so valuable and After proposing the Indians trade I did realize the Indians are not typically huge spenders so thats why i was curious to know is there a team out there that could help me pull off Yelich even if it is a three team trade.

Again, I don't think it works but some teams that could pull it off: Cubs, Dodgers, Astros, Rangers, Nats, Red Sox. But you won't get someone like Bellinger from the Dodgers or Jimenez from the Cubs. Try to find something you like there and we can see how it works but you need to temper your expectations on the return

Frazier: likely not a ton as a rental (depends on what his stats are and when he is traded)
Abreu: 3 years remaining could likely bring you back a top 100 prospect or 2.
Bailey: likely not much

I respect the attempt. You just have to accept the fact that Tanaka nor Gardner still have to he same value. Two teams I think you could look at for Tanaka are the Rangers and Astros. If they appear to be a pitcher away from a serious World Series run, see if you can pull off a Mid-Season run. I'm not sure who you get from the Stros but you could potentially build a deal around Mendez from the Rangers. Still, you'd have to be willing to part with major Yankee prospects to get Yelich. You won't get enough back in a deal with any other team to build a package for Yelich that doesn't include any top tier Yankee prospects.

It seems that the astros would be the best situation out of those teams other than the red sox which realistically there is no way of a trade happening there with top prospects and valuable players. With the astros youd have martes, tucker and paulino.

Last I checked Tanaka is not a average pitcher. I could agree with the fact that the Indians are not the cubs and the money amount is large for them but the fact you say Tanaka is average makes me wonder. My question was what team could I trade a Tanaka and Gardner to that are in win now mode with the budget to do so and then flip those prospect and maybe one of my current for Yelich.

I didn't say Tanaka was an average pitcher, I said he was an average piece. He's a great pitcher, with a huge financial commitment, next to no team control and a partially torn UCL that could mean a team taking him on has him for a week and his arm blows up. That's technically true of any pitcher, but Tanaka especially given his elbow issues. All that seriously degrades his trade value, thus he's an average piece. Another big budget, win now team might be willing to take the risk, but it's pretty unlikely you're grabbing their best prospects, making the whole idea of using another teams prospects from a Tanaka trade to flip for Yelich more or less moot.

Your best course of action if you want Yelich in a realistic deal is to reach into the Yankees farm system and make a trade. If you want prospect capital, by all means trade Tanaka, but don't expect the return to be something befitting your ace.

I just expected to get more for a SP in Tanaka and a top of the line up guy in Gardner that can get on base to a team that is a couple peices away of really competing for a title. I am realistic that the yankees are a couple years away from competing for a title which is why I have little value for Tanaka at this time and Gardner.

Also since you are a Jays fan what would it take to pry Stroman away from Jays?

That is a very good questions. I was wondering that same thing only except to bring him to the yankees. I think his value is to unpredictable as of now. Some would say he is worth just a salary dump but others would say one bad season doesnt mean that much. I think I am somewhere in the middle but am not sure what kind of return you could get or even what I could give for him as well

Planning to start a franchise with the Padres and was wondering about the trade value of some relievers at the deadline. Ryan Buchter had a great year last year and is a solid lefty arm with 5 seasons of team control. Carter Capps is an elite K guy with a few years of team control. If they are both playing well at the deadline, what kind of pieces do you think I could get for them?

Alrighty then. I guess next topic because There would be no way of giving him up. Im expecting him to be the next great yankee which might be pre mature but that is how much of a sure thing I think he is
