DD is unplayable for me since I can only play during peak hours. Nothing but frustration.

These servers are so horrendous. Numerous freezes in games I've tried to play today. The menus are better but if we can't consistently play through games whats the point?

Im not saying anything that no one else hasnt said already...when the game came out Tuesday, I saw server issues and didn't really think anything of it as this is something the Show deals with every year. What I did NOT want is shades of MLB 14 where games would freeze every time we play and it never got resolved. The game would stop at a point (or just blue screen right away) and keep looping and it became a battle of "whos gonna quit the game 1st and gets a loss" battle.

I waited until Tuesday night till many were off the servers to play a game online. Played two with no real issues. Tried to play last night at the same time as the night before. Three games, three freezes! I'm really trying to give the Show the benefit here as they are a small team and have an overall successful baseball experience...but the server issue needs to be fixed and fast.

Can you do this specific to The Show, or just in general turning off the network connection?

You're turning off your general network connection. Don't worry it's quick and easy as pie in the settings menu. It is a bit of an annoyance to remember to turn it back on again, but hardly anything major since everything on the XMB will be noticeably blank with no network connection.

I'm about ready to take this game back... I want to hold out hope but this is the worst online sports game at the moment I have ever seen. PES online makes this game online dated even


why are the menus so dated? Seriously trying to play MLB the show online makes me appreciate FIFA so much more. FIFA's online is at least 10 years ahead of MLB the show.

just getting into a game in MLB the show reminds me of the days when the first online games started on Playstation.. that's how out dated it is. You send a challenge in a game room to someone.. they have hit the quick menu button which should be called the slow menu button.. then when that eventually comes up you go to challenges.. then view challenge and then finally to where you pick teams.

in fifa.. you send a friendly request... it popups on their playstation menu and you can accept just like your getting a party request. and boom your in game instantly...

MLB the show is a good game but I don't buy games to play offline..... and maybe that's my mistake thinking MLB is going to be decent enough online to play ..

with that said i was able to finally create my DD team for the first time since Monday night and get in an online match with a friend but it was late after everyone went to bed. when in game it actually played solid as far as button lag and precision but yeah it took the entire night to get in that one game starting from 6 pm central and finally got into game 11pm central. Like someone else said. the menus and opening up packs took forever and horribly slow. bad experience

I'm not sure who is charge of MLB the show's servers.. but whoever is needs to basically double the amount of server over whatever they have now. THey need to be realistic about this. If they don't soon.. I"m taking this game back. everyone I have talked who i was going to play online franchise and DD with is going to do the same as well.

This is just unacceptable in today's video gaming age.. NFL2K1 on the dreamcast on 56 dialup worked better than this. Sad

trying to play this game for me and my friends is just a horrible experience for me right now.. there is no other way to put it.. and i'm trying to be nice about it.

Or you can just do like me an accept the fact that this is an awesome sports game that is off-line. I gave up years ago on playing The Show online. It's never worked well enough for me to enjoy playing it online.

This is now 3 battle Royale games that I've played and didn't count. 2 were wins. I am done until the alpha is over. Because a beta wouldn't even be this bad.

Won a DD game yesterday and it didn't count. Lost a DD game just now and it didn't count.



I feel for the guy on the other side.

My friend lost the first game in battle royal so he wanted the second lost to re draft

Game 2 : he quit after the the first pitch = it didn't count the lost
Game 3 : he threw fastball middle and didn't bat = it didn't count
Game 4 : he bunted with everybody and threw meatball = it didn't count
Game 5: the opponent quit first

Needless to say he was raging pretty hard lol

Third time I got to level 3 and then server problems that reset the game for me completely. So I guess I'm technically a level 9?

The loading screen is awful, it's 30 mins+ for some actions. I just let that circle spin while I do something else on my phone or around my house.

I can't redeem anything but I don't want to until this is sorted out.

I started my 4th time since launch fresh and now I'm level 7 (or 16), wonder if I'll be the next time I start the game....

It's unplayable. The game is unplayable.

Anything more info regarding the servers from them today? Clearly they just need to spend some money and get better/more servers. It's really discouraging that they thought they fixed this yesterday. I too am contemplating a refund. The game is great but if their solution to not handling this traffic is waiting for people to give up then I'll gladly give in out of principle. This is why somebody else needs to be making a legit baseball game imo. They have no competition and probably are well aware they are the only option baseball wise.

This is my first time buying a new show. I had the show 16 for the past month and the online worked fine. I'm just not a fan of getting half a game for full price. If the solution is "just play offline" that's unacceptable to me.

Go to the show shop & then to purchase or redeem. They should be in there. Or go to the show nation website & try from there.

I did the show shop the other day. It only gives me the price. No option to redeem. I'll try again later though as I haven't tried it in a few days. Thank you.
