And once again I play 9 innings against the CPU only to get the message Your Connection to the server has been lost.

All progress lost and another hour of my time wasted. I have now lost count how many hours that is.

I don't want to stop playing the game but SDS and Sony is making it damn hard to stay motivated.

Your issue seems to be much more severe than the others where their games get added to the queue and then they only have to wait for it to be processed. In your research are there many others getting the full blown lost connection?

anyone experience the glitch online head to head when it freezes mid inning and just turns into a black screen if you wait it out? WHAT THE HELL??

Here's a question for you guys who are really upset about all of this.

What are your plans for MLB the Show 18?

If they give a discount for everyone who went through this I'd consider it.

If they expect me to pay a premium again to have a game that's broken then I'm 99% sure it's a no.

I wont say never because you never know what's going to be going on a year from now.

The game is broken offline and on. I was called a troll in the "is it worth a buy" thread because I was honest about both experiences being broken. It seems a large number of users want to sympathize with the developers and that's their right but I'm not about to go along with them.

I've very disappointed in the way everyone from The Show has hidden. It shows a very fake relationship towards their users and that's unfortunate. That may not be how they feel but they're making sure that's exactly how it looks.

Not everyone has a backlog of games and not everyone can put a broken one down and go buy another, as far as I'm concerned those are the people who are hurt the most here.

With increased promotion and not supporting other hardware this was supposed to be the best version of The Show and instead because of problems it's quite possibly the worst.

I have a very negative opinion of SDS right now as do most of the people I interact with, I don't like that.

There seem to be some who have experienced it. Several people mentioned that they could not completed the Opening Day mission because of drops.

As I mentioned before, I can connect to netflix, twitch and other video apps and watch for hours without a drop so I don't think it is my setup. I will reboot all my network devices tomorrow and as tacky as it looks run a network cable to the PS4 (two rooms away from my router) to see if that helps.

This is the only game I have had issues with but honestly I don't play a lot of online games on the PS4

It's a really bad look for SDS. It is awesome to see them come on the boards and interact and answer questions pre-release, but since release they have literally dropped off the face of the planet. Again, like you said I am not saying they dont care, but it looks bad. Very bad. It also has lowered my opinion on them.

Even on social media, the first week the game was out they went days without any updates on the servers, etc. Now we are almost in week 3 and it really is not much better, and for the most part there is still silence from SDS.

It really feels like a "You bought the game, we have your $, thanks." Situation. And I know they have people working on it, but holy hell does it feel like we have been abandoned.

Well from an online franchise perspective Zero games have simmed in close to 24 hours.

It could be that my PS4 just has a crappy wifi and that is why I dropped connection to the server.

I had a powerline adapter that I used last night and all day today. It is actually a little slower connection (which is why I wasn't using it) but I didn't disconnect at all today after any of my Conquest or Play vs CPU games.

Haven't really had any issues with servers until last night and this morning. All I need to do to complete the archer program is 7ks in a ranked season game. 2 games I have completed that task and won. 2 games have gone to the que and now there is no trace of them in my history. Now I'm pissed.

It's cool that gamestop lets you take back opened games with 7 days of purchase. I wonder how many people buy a game, beat it and then return it. They have to have some kind of limit to how many returns you are allowed a year. OT, I just have been playing conquest and vs CPU games. When the game is over, I wait 30 seconds when I see the screen where it shows both teams and the score and then I press X and I haven't had a problem. I'm not playing others online though so people should stay away from that for the time being and focus on other stuff.

Ya you can only do it once with a new purchase. It's EB where I'm from lol. I hear you but I just can't support broken games with an 89.99 price tag and over a week later it's still not working. ALL I really do with sports games is play games online. I don't do franchise and stuff anymore no time just quick plays. I love DD and was hoping it would work by now. But before I can't take it back I will and get something that does work.

I really hope they release a patch to fix these issues. The last thing I want to do is return the game. I guess it's good I kept the receipt just in case.
