Haven't play in a while. Hopped on to do a few DD things but the menus were once again unacceptably slow. Didn't trust playing a game because of it.Comment

Played a vs CPU game, went 3-4 with Yount and finished the 10 strikeouts with Happ mission. Queued. I'm starting to think that SDS stands for Server Down Studios.
At this point they should forget the free content and probably start issuing people 1/3 of their money back.Comment

Agreed, trying to navigate menu (like missions) was dreadfully slow last night. I was also playing Conquest and even that mode was unacceptably slow between rounds as it kept trying to send info back to the server.
I had a 3 inning Conquest game go to the queue.Games going to the queue is not actually and error but is an indication that the servers are overloaded. If games that go to the queue never get counted then that is a bug.Comment

According to the show twitter they said, and I quote: "Waiting until there are no issues for sure. Last thing we want to do is give you something you can't properly use. But it's coming." Wish they had taken this attitude with the release of the game, or the packs every week, or all the other micro transaction things that have been lining their pockets. I don't fault a company for making money, they are in it for profit, I get it. But there are so many problems plaguing this game right now, it's not a good look.
I'm kind of beyond packs/stubs/cards as compensation. Best thing would be to give 1/3 of our money back in PSN credit. The folks that bought the regular game get $20, those that bought the deluxe get $30. People that want packs can buy packs, those that want stubs can buy stubs and those that want to maybe buy another game can do that as well. It's about the only way to make everyone truly happy.Comment

"We only want to hand out compensation one time so we are waiting until everything is fixed."
They don't want to give compensation and two weeks later after more server issues have everyone screaming for compensation, round 2.Comment

I dont play online games. But navigating thru the DD menus between 7pm and midnight (east coast US) is virtually impossible. Just finishing a game and going to check the Missions menu almost put me to sleep.
Anyone else experiencing trouble only at certain times of the day?Comment

Played a game today vs CPU with a lineup of all Yankees and Cubs. I was trying to complete the Time Limited Mission for this day (May 6). When the game was completed I did get credit for the win in the Team Epic missions section, but no credit for any of the hits by Yankees for the Time Limited missions section. I suspect this is either a server issue or a problem with the mission itself.
However, a few hours later it did work and I was bale to complete the mission on time.Last edited by Karle; 05-07-2017, 10:09 AM.Comment

I've been playing ranked game in the day here in the UK when the servers aren't too busy and it's generally been fine (a bit laggy at times, but generally playable). Not even attempting to play at peak times as even the bloody menu screens are laggy as hell.
But today I just had a game where I got my 15th Breakout win and my 8th Griffey HR, which would have taken me up a division, where the guy asked for a friendly quit in the 5th, only for it to not count because apparently friendly quit games are discarded if they otherwise would go to the queue? What is this ****, seriously? It's like 9 am in America, how on earth can the servers not handle the traffic? And why on earth do friendly quit games not even get added to the bloody queue?

Just logged back onto DD for the first time in weeks. All I can say is I am extremely disappointed that, somehow, at 8:30 on a Sunday night, the servers seem to be even slower than they were when I last played. It's been over a month now. I wasn't even that miffed when these issues were coming up in the few weeks after launch. I could understand that. But over a month later and the fact that it seems to have gotten worse, I am at a loss for words. All I wanted to do was update my lineup after receiving new cards but taking 2 minutes to load up a single player card is ridiculous.Comment
