My first couple of games on All Star (directional hitting) I barely scored a run, then in my next game scored 13 with 7 home runs. I'm not great at the game so bit worried about going up a level (All Star last year was enough of a challenge) but maybe it is easier this year, or was that game a one off?

I forget who said this or I would give them credit, but Hall of Fame is the way to go. I have played the last five games on Hall of Fame (hitting and pitching) and I've hit two home runs. I haven't gone five games with fewer home runs all year. I know five games isn't a huge sample size but I can just tell, the game plays differently.

All-Star is a slugfest. Hall of Fame is not. I just played a game (at Coors Field) where I won 7-3, and had 13 hits. None were home runs. That would NEVER happen on All-Star.

I played a few innings on hall of fame and hit a 480 foot shot with Joc Pederson. Not conclusive of anything but there should not be regular homers that exceed the farthest hit this year.

That pretty much confirms what i am seeing. Hit speed on yellows is 10 mph higher than on greens and it leads to strange results.

I have seen HR's that were result of hits with side of the the bat (90 degrees on top) and didn't make sense that speed was that high(or that i is HR at all).

I did remedy that by lowering power by 1 plus wind down to 2(from default sliders) and i am having a blast.

Definitely beats last years excessive fly balls .

Better to do around 10 games with DEFAULT SLIDERS, no DD. Than report here and share impressions.

I would say it is definitely fixed. I've only played a couple games thus far but the difference is night and day. Before I was literally capable of hitting HRs at will, hitting 4 in a row on a regular basis. That is no longer the case.

This was on legend difficulty with quick counts.

I've had back to back games with similar stats 5 plus homers. 22 hits is something I never had in a game pre patch. But I do realize I'm playing the twins.

More gameplay needed. But I'm not sold that the patch has worked.

Are people sure that this patch works with a season that had already been started prior to the patch? Because I am still hitting a lot of homeruns.

I hit 9 homeruns through 4 games. Default sliders.

I haven't hit 9 this week, haha. I use directional and custom sliders though.
