I'm guessing the bottom one the pitcher was pulled 5-0 because the Cubs had scored 0 runs.

That hasn't been my experience on full counts/manage mode.

That has been exactly my experience on full counts, no QC whatsoever - pitchers getting pulled way too early and the same long relievers throwing 3+ innings in back to back to back games sometimes.

It is a game breaker for me.

I start the game with CPU Manager Hook at 2. After they go to the bullpen I change it to 7. I turn it back to 5 when im advancing the calender. Seems to work pretty good imo.

Last game I had Salazar into the 9th inning pitching a shutout with a low pitch count. He walked a guy then I managged to get a lead and break up the shutout with 2 outs in the 9th. They still kept him in to finish the game.

Using this, Ive had roughed up starters get pulled early followed by multiple relievers. I've also had starters throw complete games.

I thought the CPU pitchers were being pulled early because THEIR team hadn't scored a run yet, not the team they are pitching against.....

Cool article, but what's important is this: are the developers intentionally adjusting the AI to reflect progressive, analytical strategies, or is their intention to replicate traditional baseball (starters pulled after ~100 pitches)?

Knowing their intention would go a long way towards deducing the problem.

Well just another confirmation that nothing has been fixed....I wasn't getting no hit. CPU pulled the SP in the top of the 8th no outs with 84 pitches (stamina was still in late end of green). Playing in QC which by the sounds of it may be majority of the issue.

In fairness QC has been improved but certaintly not enough.Before patch i don't think i saw a starter go more then 4+

The bottom one is QC, yes. That, unfortunately, has been pretty representative of what I've seen in QC post patch.

Even with the HR I feel like it's an early pull at that point. Stamina was still good too.

I felt that way too,but i'm kinda getting back into Full.It's unfortunate QC doesn't work all that well this year because of Starting pitcher issue It's better after patch but not enough for me to play it.

Exactly. I think people lobbied for this for years. Worked great last year and I still say this isn't the problem this year.

You know it wasnt something I thought much about, but after using QC the 1st yr they added it in, I cant do without it now.

For me anyway, it wasnt to shorten the length of games for me, it was more about helping me be able to draw a realistic amount of walks. Using QC allows me to get Votto somewhere realistically close to his OBP, and my team isnt always dead last in walks and OBP. I think its help me hit a little better as well.
Thats why if this isnt fixed, Im going to be very disappointed. Typically the devs of MLBTS are good about fixing stuff like this, so Im a but surprised this still seems to be a issue after the patch, but Im holding out hope people just havent spent enough time playing yet since the patch, as I havent actually played since the patch.
