It's clear to me with only one programmer assigned to franchise too many features have been added and the programmer is overwhelmed. Quick counts was a big mistake - just another gimmick which people expect to play realistically when the basic concept itself isn't realistic - and the programmer has to spend time trying to figure out how to patch it. New features were quick manage and critical situations which are only for sim users.

I play offline franchise manage mode full counts which is the basic game and I don't even bother with bug reports any more because I think the programmer is too overwhelmed with other stuff to get around to fixing the basic game.

Honestly, this is why I prefer two year cycles for sports games. No sports game on the planet seem to release without massive problems in this one year cycle BS. Every single one of the main 4 has these issues every single damn year.

I apologize for posting in the wrong thread, but for some reason all I'm allowed to do is reply and not to create a new thread.

Here's my issue: I am seeing absolutely zero injuries in franchise mode, and I cannot find where I might have switched injuries off. The only injury toggle I can find is manual/auto for roster management regarding injured players. I'm sure I'm missing something very obvious, but I can't find it. Thanks for any help.

Do you have CPU roster control on? Because that will stop any injuries from happening

All this talk of HR's being an issue for people...you do realize that homeruns are up across the league, this year and last. The trend is shifting, so I have no problem with them at all. Honestly, I'm thankful considering my offense has been abysmal the last few years in my franchise.

Please wake me when a MLB player hits a bomb over 600+ ft this year..

Reading the comments I see that some of my concerns haven't been addressed as of yet. There will no doubt be more patches so I won't overreact. Tomba is being slammed pretty hard for his comments but I actually think his concerns are a testimony of how great this game really is. The bar is so high for this game because of its realism that things like colors being off really are a disappointment for some. Think about that... When that is what affects your ability to enjoy the game, the game itself must be pretty amazing. If the colors are correct everywhere else he just wants them corrected in those areas as well. That whole Tigers jersey thing wasn't a big deal to everyone but they fixed that. Not trying to speak for him but that's how I interpreted his comments not just that he was being a crybaby.

Not home right now, but can someone give a rundown on what's been fixed/added/tweaked for uniforms? What positives have you seen from the patch, as opposed to stuff that's broken/needs fixing?

Pretty much all i wanted fixed was SP getting pulled too early in QC.
As this appears that this hasn't happened along with bat sounds taking a turn for the worse this patch is a skip for me.

Roll on 1.05..

The problem was that one of his complaints was on something real, while the other two highlighted something wrong or recently switched post release

Or maybe you're just old and it doesn't matter as much. lol. I turn 46 next month on the 23rd.... and I've been playing these games most of my life. Below is the baseball that I started out playing.

Spend a few hours with those and then pop in MLB 17 the show. It's amazing that you even get continuous updates....and the least of my concerns is the color of the grass, socks, etc.

The stat that shows the pitch/speed/break.... just showed a sinker with a 755 in break. Now thats movement LOL

Also had a fastball show the same thing. Now I may be crazy but I dont think a fastball breaks that hard LOL
